2 Biographical Information Thomas J. Euclide, Associate Vice President, Facilities Planning and Operations Kent State University, PO Box 5190, Kent, OH Mr. Euclide, Associate Vice President of Facilities Planning and Operations, has worked for KSU for over 30 years and currently oversees the facilities. During this time frame, he has had management responsibility for nearly a billion dollars in campus construction. Prior to coming to the University, he worked for both design and construction companies in Maryland, New England and Ohio. Tom began his KSU career as the senior mechanical engineer. In 1999, he was promoted to the Director of Architecture and Engineering. Since 2008, Tom has held the position of Associate Vice President for Facilities and Operations, and is responsible for University Facilities Management, the Office of the University Architect, and the Office of Sustainability. This responsibility stretches to all eight campuses plus satellite operations in Twinsburg, Cleveland, Geneva, Switzerland and Florence, Italy and comprises more than 7 million square feet in over 150 buildings on approximately 2,400 acres, and includes a budget over $32.5 million, and management of 310 union and non-union staff. Kelly is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, (LEED AP), Distributed Generation Certified Professional (DGCP), Certified Demand-Side Management Professional (CDSM) and Certified Sustainable Design Professional (CSDP). He received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Kent State University. He has over 29 years experience in project development, system design, service and auditing of many of the most innovative programs in his industry. Kelly has appeared on TV, radio, in newspapers and trade magazines, and has presented at countless conferences and workshops on innovative energy topics. He also served as Chairman for the Energy Division and board member of Cleveland Engineering Society and is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
3 Biographical Information James Wilbanks, Senior Energy Engineer / Business Development Manager The Brewer-Garrett Company, 6800 Eastland Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH Mobile: jwilbanks@brewer-garrett.com James Wilbanks has over 15 years experience in mechanical engineering and system design. As an Energy Engineer and Business Development Manager with Brewer- Garrett, James is responsible for the development, design and implementation of Energy Conservation Programs that meet the technical demands of today s construction environment. His background in mechanical system design allows him to ensure that the programs developed adhere to the strict requirements of building codes and recognized industry standards. James obtained his certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP) from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). He is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, and the Ohio Society of Healthcare Facilities Management. Noah A. Brewer PE, CEM, Senior Energy Engineer The Brewer-Garrett Company, 6800 Eastland Rd., Middleburg Heights, OH NBrewer@Brewer-Garrett.com Noah Brewer is a Senior Energy Engineer at The Brewer-Garrett Company, a premier provider of Energy Services Performance Contracting and Facilities Management Services to the educational, commercial and industrial marketplace. Noah began his career at The Brewer-Garrett Company in 2010 as an Energy Auditor. During his six years with the company, his responsibilities have included the assessment and energy auditing for over $37 million dollars worth of guaranteed energy savings. He has performed numerous Measurement and Verification tests on multiple energy conservation projects and developed many original projects leading to millions of dollars in utility savings for various facilities and industries. Noah is a Certified Energy Manager and a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
