3 OPA Programs: TGRR The Great Refrigerator Roundup Program This program seeks to retire older, secondary refrigerators and freezers and recycle them in an environmentally responsible manner. The disposal or decommissioning process results in less than a small grocery-bag of waste ending up in a landfill for every appliance retired. Foam insulation is diverted from landfill, and all recyclable materials are reclaimed.
4 OPA Programs: peaksaver peaksaver Demand management program for residential and small commercial customers. Relieves peak load by remotely controlling the operation of central air conditioning units (and electric water heaters, where feasible) during periods of high demand. Participating customers will have a new programmable thermostat installed free of charge ($ value), and receive a financial incentive of $25.00 for enrolling.
5 School Safety and Conservation Seminar EnWin will be providing this seminar to 60 schools in our service territory starting Mid November, 2007 Providing elementary students with education on Electrical Safety, Electrical and Water Conservation
