3 ACETO Industries Company has a wide experience in Several Engineering fields and all phases of the Project activities, starting from planning to commission and start up of the most up to date automation and control technologies such as PLC, DCS, PAC, and SCADA. ACETO Industries is also committed to the development and enhancement of the Egyptian Industries, and locally manufacture low and medium voltage switchboards, transformer kiosks and Main Ring units up to 36 KVA; ACETO Industries is also manufacture load break and isolating switches. All are made following the requirement of the international standards for quality management. Quality Assurance ACETO Industries obtained ISO 9001/1994 quality system certification through QMI Canada in October 29 th, ACETO Industries obtained ISO 9001/2000 system and services certification through SGS/UK in May 5 th, ACETO Industries obtained ISO 9001/2008 quality system certification through SGS/Egypt in April 23 rd 2010.

We regularly evaluate the total quality and performance of our sub-contractors to meet our obligations to our customers. As a member of the world community, ACETO Industries is devoting its at most technology and solutions to sustain a higher quality environment and atmosphere. About half of our resources is allocated for services related to a better quality environment. This can be a lower emission of industrial plant, or a better quality for the water or a less pollution in the waste. 7 1.Obour City and New Communities water supply scheme One of our major projects was the control and SCADA for this project; implemented with Alexandria Construction Company (Talaat Mustafa), the scope includes Intake pumping station from Ismaelia canal, Raw water Booster, Raw water pipeline valves, WTP Mimic, Treated water pumping stations # 2,3,4,5 and treated water pipeline from WTP to PS2, and from PS4 to PS5. The strategy was to control the pump operation based on downstream reservoir level, and to open/close valves along the pipeline from the station upstream of the line. Again this was the first time for this type and size of projects, that a local company undertakes all the technical and financial aspects. 2. Toshka Irrigation Canal: Another major project which is near completion is the SCADA system for Toshka Canal which monitor and control the regulators along the 73 KM El Sheikh Zayed canal, the data is transmitted using RF Radio links from the different regulators and Mubarak pumping station to the canal central control room, the system is controlling the levels upstream each regulator, and manipulating the 350 m³/sec flow from Mubarak pumping station by starting/stopping or varying the speed of one or more of the 21x10 MW pumps.

Kafr El Dawar Power Stations Units(1,2,3,4) We recently commissioned the distributed control system (DCS) for the units which includes about 5000 I/O points, our scope of work includes: Engineering, Supply, Installation, Configuration, Commissioning and start up for field equipment and DCS, the ONLY project in Egypt completely designed, configured, implemented and commissioned by a local company for power station digital control systems. 4. Development and Implementation of SCADA System Based Remote Intelligent Pumps Control for "El-Sadat" City Water Supply System Sadat City located about 100 Km north of Cairo in Egypt with about one million population. It is a growing residential and industrial community dependent upon wells for its fresh water supply. A new water supply facility was needed in order to meet the city growing demand. A well field comprised of fifteen artesian wells distributed in about 55 Km along the desert has been constructed. At each well submersible motor pump rated 250 H.P is fitted to deliver water to two underground reservoir tanks located at central location. The central location located near by the center of the well field. At the central location eight pumps rated 450 H.P each, has been installed in order to operate in sequence to fulfill the city needs of water.
