12 Trade-facilitation indicators for Colombia and the LAC region OECD Trade and Agriculture Directorate 12
13 Key messages There is a need for more stringent regulations in view of the environmental challenges ahead. Countries having stringent environmental regulations tend to export environmental products relatively more. Trade facilitation can help diffuse environmental products more widely. Environmental regulations should, however, be designed in a way that does not add to trade costs. OECD Trade and Agriculture Directorate 13
