10 It is planned to intercept & divert the discharge of 22 nallahs through 6no.pumping p station to sewerage treatment plant so that water of Chambal River is not contaminated. 12 Seven Sewerage Projects Government of Rajasthan sanctioned sewerage projects in 7 towns at a total cost of Rs Cr. which are as under: 1. Banswara 2. Fatehpur Shekhawati 3. Sriganganagar 4. Nathdwara 5. Balotra 6. Deedwana 7. Makrana Problems in the Project Towns Toilet/ kitchen/ Bathroom waste is being disposed of into surface drains wherever available or disposed of on the streets. In the absence of proper drainage system, wastewater is getting collected at several local depressions in the town and creating insanitary conditions and health hazard.

13 Objective of the Sewerage Projects Proper collection of waste water will improve the sanitary condition of the town Improve the health hof thepeople It can save ground water from pollution Treated water will be used in agriculture and gardening Improve overall environment
