4 Q: Are you an employer struggling to find the right candidate? A: The Resume Matrix can help! Q: Is the recruiting process frustrating and overwhelming for you? A: The Resume Matrix can help! Take a look at an excellent online recruiting tool called the Resume Matrix. You will be able to view hundreds of resumes, averaging between 400 and 600, that are posted. All the resumes are categorized by occupational category and candidates continually verify their accounts to keep them active. A one time registration process is required. Within two business days, access will be granted so that you can download resumes at your leisure. You also will be able to view any upcoming events that are scheduled. If you have any questions on using the Resume Matrix, please contact Rebecca at Q: Are you an employer struggling to find the time to recruit? A: A Business Services Representative can help! A Business Services Rep will screen the Resume Matrix for you to find candidates that meet your recruiting criteria, rank them in the order from most to least qualified, and submit them to you for your review at no cost to you! If you would also like phone screenings and/or initial interviewing done by your Business Services Rep, arrangements can be made for a reasonable fee. Let us make your business life easier by letting us do the work for you. All you have to do is call us! Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." - Henry Ford Page 4
5 Job Fair Results Tuesday, February 8th, we held our first Job Fair co-sponsored with Kenosha News. It was a great success! We had a full house, with 55 businesses registered having over 1,000 job opportunities available. Over 700 job seekers came through looking to find a position that matched their skills. Employers reported potential hires of individuals as the result of attending the Job Fair. Here s what some of the employers commented: Great turn-out and great experience as an employer! Nicely organized - good traffic / table location. Very good Job Fair! I attend many of these and this by far is one of the best! Business Services Team holds four Job Fairs every year, with one of those being a Tri- County (Kenosha, Racine, Walworth) Job Fair. Each Job Fair is held at the Kenosha County Center, th Street, Bristol, WI. It is held from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. You may have missed our first Job Fair, but we have more coming up: May 17, 2011 July 20, Tri-County Veterans & Community Job Fair October 4, 2011 In order for us to continue providing you with quality services and because we are seeing signs of economic recovery with more employers hiring, we will be implementing a fee structure that incorporates a range of options. Fees will be assessed for prime locations and the use of electricity, while still allowing the majority of employers to attend at no cost. For more information and if you are interested in recruiting at the Job Fair that is being held in May, please contact Rebecca at Page 5
