27 Key Facts about WEST WEST is the Workforce Engagement Survey Tool Portal based application - URL: Portal is pre-loaded with all the Step Change in Safety member companies (98) SCiS contact for each company is pre-loaded as the WE Champion Portal is pre-loaded with (most) of the offshore work sites, linked to the Duty Holders ( ~ 400+) Portal is also pre-loaded with (most) contractor companies who are likely participating in the survey (~ 340) Unique survey URL for each work site survey : 8 letter/number combination (all lower case) - i, l, o, 0 are omitted Provides more than 1 trillion unique combinations (~ 1,100,000,000,000) Portal / survey tested for use on IE 7, 8 and 9, Firefox, Chrome and Safari Most Importantly The Survey is ANONYMOUS follow us on
28 Who can participate and how? Top Down Approach All Step Change in Safety member companies can participate in the Workforce Engagement project Each member company has a Step Change in Safety contact person This person has been set-up in the system as the Workforce Engagement champion for his / her company The champion can register s to the company profile and appoint administrators for each The company champion or the administrator can create a survey All staff and contractors on the site are encouraged to participate in the survey Champion can view reports from all work sites within the company profile Administrators can view reports for all surveys on their only follow us on
29 Bottom Up Approach The workforce can also instigate a survey Specify your work site / duty holder online and check registration If not already registered: Duty holder champion will be alerted by Champion can accept / reject the request for the survey Champion can accept the requestor as the administrator or appoint alternative administrator If the site is already registered with a survey, the request will be forwarded to the administrator, who can inform the requestor on how to participate in the survey follow us on
