3 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER. One Girl is on the hunt for a dynamic Community Engagement Manager to join our growing team. You ll play a key role on our fundraising team, managing some of our most exciting programs and working with our most passionate supporters across our Ambassador Program, Schools Program, and Speakers Program. Over the past 7 years, One Girl Ambassadors have been critical to the success to our Do It In A Dress campaign, which raises money to support education programs reaching thousands of girls in Sierra Leone and Uganda. This year we want to take the Ambassador Program to the next level as well as strengthen and grow our schools and speaking programs. By growing these programs and building our base of valued One Girl supporters, we will be able to reach even more girls with life-changing access to education. And we need you to help us do this. One Girl operates as a startup organisation, and as such our positions are very fluid you may be asked to complete tasks that are outside of this position description. Ideally this role will suit a person who enjoys taking on new challenges, and would consider themselves a jack of all trades.

4 RESPONSIBILITIES - AMBASSADOR PROGRAM: Review and re-develop the Ambassador Program to be in line with One Girl s values and future vision, and with a vision to grow the program in quality and size. Recruit 200+ dedicated Ambassadors each year, organise all workshop logistics, create Ambassador training materials and run Ambassador training workshops around Australia and online. Ongoing liaison with Ambassadors through and social media to support their fundraising throughout Do It In A Dress. Regularly analyse campaign data to monitor Ambassador Program performance, ensure the program maintains its effectiveness and relevance, as well as completing a post-analysis on completion of campaign, providing recommendations that will influence future strategies and implementation.

5 RESPONSIBILTIES - SPEAKING PROGRAM: RESPONSIBILITIES - SCHOOLS PROGRAM Actively seek out speaking opportunities, especially to coincide with important dates such as International Day of the Girl Child, International Women s Day Create and lead a nation-wide schools program to engage schools and students to become active fundraisers and advocates of One Girl. Work with other members of the Fundraising team to identify speaking opportunities alongside specific One Girl fundraising campaigns/launches Be One Girl s primary liaison with all schools Manage incoming talk requests and to ensure continued relationship with school representative. In addition to talks as part of the schools program, manage all talk requests, responding to requesters, finding a suitable speaker, and following up with additional information after the event. Travel domestically to deliver talks at schools wherever possible and appropriate. Build a team of volunteer speakers in each state and provide adequate speaker vetting and training.

Not in the circus-sense (though bonus points for that!). But rather, you re able to juggle multiple tasks, areas of focus, and competing priorities with ease. You re cool, calm and collected in the face of deadlines, and you can produce quality work even when you re under the pump. You re willing to learn. You know you won t have all the knowledge, skills, and experience required on day one. And you re okay with that because you re willing to learn. You love up-skilling and the prospect of learning on the job isn t scary, it s energizing. You re a great communicator. It doesn t matter whether you re communicating verbally or in writing, your fantastic communication skills ensure others know exactly what you re talking about.

7 YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE. You have experience in fundraising support (either in a paid or voluntary role). You have an ability to analyse data to develop recommendations. You have exceptional writing skills and attention to detail. Experience in running workshops or making presentations and public speaking will be well regarded. Knowledge of Salesforce and Raisely desirable. Car ownership / drivers licence desirable. TIME COMMITMENT. This is a full-time paid position, 5 days a week based in Melbourne.
