13 Behind the Meter Generation Update MISO is proposing to dispatch Behind The Meter Generators under either of the following conditions Network Resource Service & Economic Information Added to Tier Order Special Considerations Generation dispatched to meet local needs 13

15 Hydro Dispatch Update Current dispatch relies on member submissions for hydro units We are proposing two options for consideration This proposal will not impact Manitoba Hydro dispatch 15
16 Hydro Dispatch Update (Proposal) Option 1: Average Season Approach Use a 5 year rolling seasonal historic average for each plant based upon run data in EIA Option 2: Low Water Season Approach Use a 5 year rolling seasonal historic minimum for each plant based upon run data in EIA 16
17 Hydro Dispatch Update (Impact) Option 1: Average Season Approach Results in MISO wide reduction of approximately 100 MW in five and ten year summer peak cases Option 2: Low Water Season Approach Results in MISO wide reduction of approximately 1000 MW in five and ten year summer peak cases 17

19 Impact of proposed changes The As-Is category currently contains around 10% of the MISO footprint Results in a reduction of As-Is units by 87% 19
