17 Progress on Land Acquisition Land Acquisition is being done as per Railway Amendment Act, Compensation is guided by the Principles enshrined in National Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy (NRRP), 2007 Land Acquisition is required for hectares. So far, 85% of the total land acquired. Entire DFC land acquisition is likely to be completed by 2013.
18 Major Breakthrough in Environmental Clearances Wild Life clearances for Sanjay Gandhi National Park & Balaji Ambaji Bird Sanctuary obtained under NWPA Diversion of 58 Ha of forest land in Maharashtra approved by FAC under FCA Permission of Empowered Committee obtained for cutting trees in Taj Trapezium Zone (TTZ).
