Indian Army is planning to procure Modular Bridge mounted on High Mobility Vehicle. With a view to identify probable vendors who can undertake the said project the OEMs/Vendors are requested to forward information on the product which they can offer. The parameter/broad specifications of the item are mentioned in the questionnaire attached as Appendix A. In addition the vendors are required to furnish details as per performa at Appendix B. 2. Apart from the information as per the Appendices, the vendors are requested to forward technical details/product brochures/literature etc pertaining to the item in question. 3. 3 3 Appendix A RFI PART I : MODULAR BRIDGE 1. Proposed Service Employment. There is a requirement of a modular bridge for bridging dry and wet gaps for passage of traffic with military load class Basic Parameters Required. (a) One Set. One set should comprise of minimum 46 meters long bridge including integral end modules and launcher vehicle, with one spare launcher vehicle and two additional end modules, to enable launching of two independent bridges of different span combinations. (b) Span. The proposed equipment will be employed for bridging wet and dry gaps of upto 46m for passage of upto load class 70 traffic. 3. Queries on Technical Characteristics. Above 30 m and upto (o) (p) What is strength of crew required for erection of bridge. What is the launching time required for the 46 m bridge by day and by night with the crew as mentioned above.

Give out the temperature range in which the equipment is suitable for use and storage.

If yes, what are the broad aspects of maintenance requirement that you would propose to transfer? Are all oils and lubricants used on the equipment of a standard range and conform to Indian/equivalent specifications. Is the bridging system in use with other countries. If yes, give details as under:- (i) Country. (ii) Organisation. (iii) Year of Introduction in Service. (iv) Total Sets Procured.
