1 P a g e 1 Frequently Asked Questions Service Advisors and Technicians Performance Points = CASH How are points calculated for Service Advisors and Technicians? Link to AIM rules How often are the AIM points updated? Monthly the points that you earn will be posted to your AIM Portal Account 7 days after the close of the month. Does the AIM dashboard summary only count the current month or all months combined? All points on the dashboard are cumulative. The dashboard shows the amounts that have not been cashed out. Why do my total points and dollars read 0 on the performance summary dashboard? Although you are earning points daily, your total points and dollars are not calculated and posted to your Performance Summary until the 7 th day of the month. I'm a new user, I can see my ROs tracking but I don't see my points. When can I cash out for the first time? Your points will be added to your Performance Summary once per month, on the 7 th day of the following month. At that time, you will be able to use the cash out button (provided you are registered with the VW Academy). How do I turn my points into cash? After points are posted to your AIM Portal Account you can press the CASH OUT button. It will take about approximately 4-6 weeks for the funds to be loaded onto your debit card. Does AIM use operation codes to identify commodities sold? No, AIM does not use operation codes to identify commodities sold. Instead, AIM uses a list of qualifying part numbers for each commodity. You can view the commodity part list on your dashboard by clicking View Qualifying Parts Will my points ever expire? Yes, so please be sure to cash out any points earned in 2017 before the end of the day on March 2 nd, How long does it take before I will see my qualifying RO in AIM? Please allow 1-2 business days from the close date of the qualifying RO to update to your RO Summary.

You must be active in the Learning Management System (LMS) for the entire payout cycle to receive your incentives. Wirecard North America Reloadable Debit Card In order for aim to pickup How do I get my debit card? If you have not participated in a promotion before, the Volkswagen Incentives department will have Wirecard North America ship you a new Wirecard North America Debit Card the first time you receive a cash incentive. This debit card will be shipped to your dealership address with your name on it, so please be on the lookout for your new card. It should arrive within 7-10 business days after payments are processed. Please keep in mind that payments are usually processed around the 25 th of the month. How do I check my balance? Please call Wirecard North America at 1-(866) or check online at How do I replace a lost card? If you have lost your debit card or have not received it, please contact the Volkswagen Incentives Help Desk at 1-(866) , Option 1, Option 2, Option 1. Can I use my old ServiceUp! or Citi debit card? Yes Inaccurate/Missing Points What do I do if my points are not showing? Although you are earning points daily, your total points and dollars are not calculated and posted to your Performance Summary until the 7 th day of the following month. We strongly recommend that your tire part numbers include the prefix DT in order for AIM to take into consideration the tire sales towards your point calculations. If you are experiencing difficulties, contact the AIM Help Desk as listed above. Service Managers Cash Incentive Who is eligible? Service Managers and Parts & Service Managers Only one manager per dealer code What time period is measured for cash incentive? The cash incentive program will run for all 4 quarters of 2017 and incentive earnings will be paid at the end of each quarter. Winners will be determined based on quarterly performance in specific categories and payments will be made within 28 days of the close of each quarter. At a new dealership, how will YoY metrics be measured? AIM will make the necessary calculations that are based on the average RO data for the dealers in the area. After a buy/sell, how will a dealer s YoY metrics be measured? AIM will maintain the RO data from the previous dealer and apply calculations for the new dealer. What do I do if I cannot see my RO count? Please call or the AIM Help Desk at How do I track my team s performance?

4 P a g e 4 Select the Employee Participation button on your dashboard. Please note that you can update the dealership assigned employee ID for your Advisors and Technicians, by clicking the pencil icon next to the employee name. How do I find out how much I earned in the Cash Incentive? If you met all of the requirements for the program and show a trophy in the dealer rankings for the quarter, you are eligible to earn the maximum amount shown on your dashboard. Why don't I see my dealer in the dealer rankings? Your dealership will not appear in the dealer rankings until your Parts Purchase Objective is achieved (100% or more) for the quarter. How do I remove a former employee from my AIM reporting? (Employee Participation Table) After a user is deactivated in the VWHub via Certification Resource Center (CRC), please allow at least two business days for the user to be removed from your AIM data. How do I register a new employee? Have the user register with the VW Academy, verify that they have a qualifying AIM job role (Shop Foreman, Service Consultant, or Service Technician); finally the user should log into the AIM portal through the VWHub and complete their registration page. Change of Dealerships / Change of Positions Are you planning to change dealerships? You must cash out prior to making the change in order to get your incentive. As a reminder, you must be active in the VW Learning Management System (LMS) in order to cash out. If you are inactive when payment is sent, the funds will not be added to your debit card. Therefore, you will need to cash out 4-6 weeks before leaving a dealership. Most employee changes of dealerships fall under two situations Situation # 1. Employee changed dealership and SSO/VWHub ID also changed In this case, the employee is considered as new user in AIM. The employee must register again because his SSO credentials have changed. We use SSO credentials to uniquely create a user in our system. Also, the employee must update the employee ID/DMS ID in their profile page on the Portal. The Employee ID must match the ID on the ROs under the new dealership in order to receive credit. The system will keep their old dealership posted points and they will be updated to the new dealership upon request.

5 Situation #2 Employee changed dealership but SSO/VWHub ID doesn't change In this case, the employee remains as an existing user in AIM and all account info will flow to the new dealership. However, the employee must update their employee ID/DMS ID in their profile page within the AIM portal. The Employee ID must match the ID on the ROs under the new dealership in order to receive credit. P a g e 5 Also, it is imperative that the dealer code in VWHub/SSO matches the new dealer code on the ROs. Are you planning to change roles, or job title? Points will not transfer from one position to another. For example, if a Service Advisor becomes a Service Manager, they will not keep the points accumulated while being a Service Advisor. For this reason we recommend that employees CASH OUT before changing positions. Questions on your VWHub account?
