1 FUNDRAISING NEWS FEBRUARY - APRIL 2018 TIME TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE NEW KYTONS? WE VE MADE A COUPLE OF CHANGES FOR EASTER THIS YEAR AT KYTONS 1. Beautiful new packaging Last September we launched Kytons new branding fresh and modern, with a touch of what one customer described as country chic. All of our hot cross buns and 12 pack lamingtons are now sporting this new branding and you ll see the new packaging appearing on all Kytons products by the end of No sides on the 12-pack Hot Cross Bun box We ve replaced the high sided white box that the fundraising buns have previously come in with a flat tray a request we ve had from many customers to make it easier to get the buns out. Don t worry, we haven t changed the hot cross bun recipe at all just the box and packaging! 3. A 6-pack of traditional lamingtons in the fundraising range You ll now find traditional lamingtons in a 6-pack on all of Kytons fundraising forms. While the 12 pack of traditional lamingtons continues to be our biggest selling product, the 6-pack offers those with a smaller family (or limited room in their freezer!) an alternative. It reflects the crispness of the new brand, features many beautiful new images plus we think it s easier to navigate around. This is especially true for the new fundraising page which features - Easy to use big buttons down the right side to access fundraising packs, tally sheets, a suggested cover letter and fundraising tips. A download button for electronic version of forms, logos, electronic postcard. A concertina of all the fundraising ranges with full colour photos of all the products. A FAQ section with drop down answers. All forms can be used for orders collected during the first two weeks of Easter fundraising, but only lamingtons and hot cross buns forms can be used for orders collected in the week beginning 26th March. The forms feature all the same products, but at 50c higher than the regular form - the extra profit per item will assist in covering the cost of refrigerated freight to your door. We can or post the forms to you PLAN YOUR 2018 FUNDRAISING CALENDAR Kytons has fundraising drives for every season of the year - Winter fundraisers Information packs for winter drives will be available when you collect your Easter drive or will be posted in late April. Lamington or Kytons Classics Available from February to December (except Kytons closed dates), a lamington form is included in this pack as is a Kytons Classics form featuring lamingtons, cookies, waffles and fruit crumbles. Christmas Drives Available from early November until a week before Christmas. POSTCARDS & POSTERS AVAILABLE We can supply you with Kytons posters and Easter postcards to help promote your drive. Give Kytons a call on & we can send some out to you (we suggest attaching a postcard to each order form you send out). Postcards also available electronically under downloads on the website. 3 KYTONS FUNDRAISING FACTS 2018 Kytons has been South Australian owned since 1938 and we specialise in assisting community groups to fundraise with our delicious bakery products. Being an Adelaide based company we can also offer personalised advice and local support for your fundraising drive. While we are best known for Kytons award winning lamingtons, which have been twice awarded first prize by the National Baking Awards, we also offer a variety of other products to fundraise with Hot Cross Buns (winner of National Hot Cross Bun Competition), Winter Products, including sweet and savoury pies and biscuits, as well as our Christmas Range, featuring a large selection of festive fare and gift ideas. You ll find lots more information about Kytons product ranges, product availability and tips for running a successful Kytons Fundraising Drive in the attached fundraising pack and on our website 7 STEPS TO RAISING FUNDS WITH KYTONS PRODUCTS 1. Plan the date to receive your products and call to book the date with Kytons 2. Work out the date for forms to be returned to you. Remember to allow yourself enough time to collate orders and notify Kytons by Thursday the week prior to collection/delivery date 3. Put the dates on the master form (you ll find several types enclosed, choose the ones containing the products you wish to fundraise with), photocopy and distribute to your students/ members etc. 4. Collect forms and money and tally totals. You ll find a tally sheet on our website 5. Ring Kytons with the final order by Thursday the week prior to your collection/delivery date 6. Pick up or have your order delivered and distribute to your customers 7. Plan how to spend your new funds IMPORTANT: Please check your chosen days of the week and dates against the product availability chart in the attached newsletter. Minimum Orders There is no minimum order requirement but orders of less than 24 packets will attract the suggested sell price to your customer price detailed in the enclosed newsletter. Ways to Increase Your Profit OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FUNDRAISING WITH KYTONS Schedule 3 fundraisers for the year & participate in our 3 for 3 in 3 scheme. Receive 3% discount off your 3rd invoice for the year provided - Your group runs 3 fundraising drives in 3 separate terms during Each invoice must total a minimum of $300 Challenge your members to reach sales targets to receive extra cash rewards: packets $10 discount off invoice packets $35 discount or free delivery packets $60 discount or free delivery + $25 discount A further $25 discount applies for each 100 packets sold for 400, 500 etc. Payment Unless being freighted to the country, orders are cash on delivery or collection. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or eftpos if you are collecting from Kytons. Country orders are dispatched with a 7 day account enclosed, which can be paid by cheque or direct debit. RECEIVE A DISCOUNT FOR 3 DRIVES IN A CALENDAR YEAR Delivery Metropolitan Adelaide: Delivery is available anywhere in the metro area at a flat rate of $35, but this charge can be waived if you sell 200 packets or more (see above). We encourage you to visit Kytons at Edwardstown to collect your order. Our staff will assist you to load your order into your car and the following is a guide for what you can expect to fit in your vehicle: A medium sized sedan (no passengers, luggage or children s car seats) holds at least 200 packets Happy Fundraising! Darren & Sharon Sutton A medium sized wagon (no passengers, luggage or children s car seats) holds at least 300 packets Country: Delivery to most country areas is available, but please check available days and costs with Kytons before distributing your forms. We can also supply country customers with country forms with products listed at 50c above the regular price to help you cover the cost of refrigerated freight to SA country areas. Handling Stock Please refer to product packaging and cartons for exact storage instructions. Lamingtons, pies & winter puddings require refrigeration if not distributing on the day of collection/delivery.
