SYDNEY FESTIVAL MARKETING MANAGER 1 PURPOSE OF POSITION The Marketing Manager (alngside the Digital Marketing Manager, Publicity Manager and Ticketing and Custmer Services Manager) is a key player in the planning and implementatin f the verall marketing and prmtinal strategies and campaigns fr Sydney Festival. Wrking with the Head f Marketing and Custmer Services, the Marketing Manager will manage the delivery f marketing cllateral and prmtinal campaigns and is respnsible fr ensuring all campaign deadlines are met. 2. ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT OF POSITION The psitin frms an integral part f Sydney Festival s marketing team, with the team respnsible fr the nging management f the integrity f the Festival brand; develpment f the Festival prfile as well as generating bx ffice incme. This is achieved thrugh an verarching integrated cmmunicatins campaign as well as targeted campaigns fr individual events, prductins and strands. The department als delivers marketing benefits t spnsrs. The department is respnsible fr ensuring the Festival is perceived as being successful, ethical and vibrant and therefre attractive t audiences, spnsrs and ther key stakehlders frm Bard members t current and ptential emplyees and cntractrs. Outside the department, the psitin liaises with Develpment, Prgramming, Ticketing, Prductin and Administratin departments as well as the Executive Office, and is in many cases the primary cntact fr many agencies and suppliers.
