1. EDS Overview EDS - EDS is an nline service that allws clients t submit specified applicatins/amendments and dcuments fr surface dispsitins t SRD electrnically. Presently EDS has 5 subsystems: Public Land Dispsitin Applicatins & Amendments - This selectin will enable yu t submit applicatins r amendments fr dispsitins n public lands fr EZE, LOC, MSL, PLA, PIL, REA SML & VCE purpses. Dispsitin Maintenance - This selectin will enable yu t submit AOA Mnthly Status Reprt and create a Site Entry ntificatin. Reclamatin Certificate Applicatin Submissins - This selectin will enable yu t submit applicatin fr Reclamatin Certificate n Public Land. Public Lands Dispsitin Enhanced Apprval - All applicatins fr upstream il and gas activities, (excluding in-situ ils sands prductin, il sands mines peratins and thse dispsitins being applied fr thrugh the AOA prcess) fr the dispsitin types f Mineral Surface Lease (MSL), License f Occupatin fr access (LOC), Pipeline Agreement (PLA), and Pipeline Installatin Lease (PIL) must be submitted thrugh the "Public Land Dispsitin Enhanced Apprval" selectin #4, effective September 1st, 2010. Any dispsitin applicatins that are utside f the scpe f the "Public Land Dispsitin Enhanced Apprval" selectin #4, must be submitted thrugh the "Public Land Dispsitin Applicatin & Amendments" selectin #1, r "Dispsitin Maintenance" selectin #2, as apprpriate. Any dispsitin applicatin submissins that are in scpe f the "Public Land Dispsitin Enhanced Apprval" selectin #4, and submitted thrugh any ther selectins will be rejected. Any dispsitin applicatins submitted thrugh the "Public Land Dispsitin Enhanced Apprval" selectin #4, that are utside f the defined scpe will be rejected. Applicatin/Amendment Status Check Request - This selectin will enable yu t send a request fr the status f applicatin/amendment. This must be used t request a status f an applicatin prcessed by the Industrial, Oil and Gas Applicatins Unit. Fr details abut each f the subsystems please review the individual User Manual. EDS will allw clients t submit applicatins and amendments during extended hurs. It will als prvide validatin f selected data fields at the client wrkstatin thereby assisting the client t minimize the pprtunity fr errrs n the submissin. Applicatins that are accepted by EDS fr uplading t Land Standing Autmated System (LSAS) will be assigned an activity number by EDS and emailed back t the client alng with a cpy f the applicatin. The pprtunity that will be prvided by this autmated system will ensure that clients are prvided with efficient and cnsistent service. 1.1 Hurs f Operatins EDS Supprt help desk is available Mnday t Friday 8:15 am t 4:30 pm except statutry hlidays. If the Urgent Status is enabled, the Reasn needs t be entered. This buttn cancels the status request submissin and takes the user back t the main menu.
