9 Weighing, Nutrition and Performance Weighing and Vaccination Information Cattle will be weighed on the truck or ground Cattle have been vaccinated with the Zoetis SelectVAC WeanVAC Protocol and all producers are BQA certified Nutrition Information All cattle have been weaned at least 60+ days All cattle are bunk broke and water trough broke All cattle are running out on grass receiving a supplement of complete feed or silage along with free choice hay All cattle are receiving free choice mineral Performance Information All Cattle are home-raised, EID tagged and PVP certified through the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, and Verified Beef Participating producers would like to acquire carcass and feedlot data on a representative sample of their herd at least every two years. Several loads of cattle have been fed in the past grading 80% choice or better. Heifers are guaranteed open All cattle will be dehorned All participating producers are using performance tested sires.
