Growers trust Quadris for its unique, systemic control of familiar foliar diseases, such as aerial web blight and frogeye leaf spot, as well as its control of diseases that have become a threat over the last couple of seasons, including soybean rust. Promotes a Better Quality Soybean Plant Disease control is not the only visible benefit of Quadris. By impacting plant physiology, it encourages seed uniformity and size. Quadris-treated seeds have more seedling vigor, an important benefit for seed companies and the growers who do business with them. Season after season, Quadris impacts plant physiology, and produces greener, healthier plants while improving pod retention, which in turn creates beans with larger and fuller pods and better harvests. By protecting beans from disease, Quadris contributes to healthier, fuller pods, which maximizes yield. In more than 570 side-by-side comparisons, Quadris has consistently increased yields throughout the entire United States soybean-growing geography. On average, Quadris increases soybean yields by 5-6 bu/a. 3 Let Soybeans Reach their Full Potential: Increase Yield and Improve Quality with Quadris Fungicide

When it comes to increasing yield and improving soybean quality, Quadris fungicide stands alone as the only truly systemic fungicide that provides such benefits by keeping diseases out of the field and boosting the vigor of the plant. Quadris has enhanced the quality and quantity of soybean yields across the country since 2000, longer than any other soybean fungicide. Apply Quadris fungicide and let soybeans reach their full potential. By controlling a broad spectrum of yield-robbing threats including blights, mildews and leaf spots, Quadris is relied upon year after year to protect soybean plants from damaging diseases. Several years of research on commercial fields has proven that even in the absence of reaching infection thresholds, Quadris increases soybean yields an average of 5-6 bu/a and helps produce better quality soybeans. Growers who want an increase in the quality and quantity of their soybean yields, and therefore a higher return on investment, make Quadris a key component in their soybean programs. Qualified and Experienced Labeled on more than 200 crops in 72 countries, Quadris has protected a variety of crops for more than 10 years, making it the most widely-used fungicide currently on the market. Soybean growers throughout the United States have reaped the yield and quality benefits of a Quadris application since the fungicide received registration for use on soybeans five years ago.

Application Information Proper application timing contributes significantly to optimal control of foliar diseases and boosting the quality of the plant. Generally, Quadris should be applied when pods are 1 4 of an inch long or when it is apparent that a disease is developing. In order to control foliar diseases and maximize yield, Quadris should ideally be applied between R3-R4. A preventive treatment for soybean rust should be made at the R1-R2 stage. However, numerous factors affect proper application timing of a fungicide. Growers should consider their individual crop rotation, planting date, variety, yield potential, weather, irrigation, scouting and field history when making application decisions. Growers are encouraged to contact their local retailer or extension office for more specific information.

Quadris Benefits Provides complete control of key soybean diseases. Boosts yields an average of 5-6 bu/a. Impacts plant physiology to produce greener, healthier plants, larger beans and fuller pods, plus improves pod retention for better harvests. Provides complete protection throughout the plant through excellent systemic activity. Gives growers the confidence of using the #1 fungicide in the U.S., proven on dozens of crops and millions of acres, including more than five years on soybeans. The Bottom Line - Improved Yield and Quality As the threat of disease and adverse environmental challenges continue to plague the soybean market, it is important growers protect their crops and prioritize improving the yield and quality of their soybeans, in order to ensure their crop reaches its full potential, adding dollars to their bottom line. Quadris fungicide earns soybean growers higher yields, healthier plants and a better return on their investment.

Diseases Controlled by Quadris Aerial web blight (Rhizoctonia solani) Alternaria leaf spot (Alternaria spp.) Athracnose (Collectotrichum truncatum) Brown leaf spot (Septoria glycines) Cercospora leaf spot, Purple seed stain (Cercospora kikuchii) Frogeye leaf spot (Cercospora sojina) Pod and stem blight (Diaporthe phaseolorum) Maximizes Yield and Quality Provides disease control that allows the soybean plant to reach full potential yield. Keeps plants healthier by > Inhibiting ethylene biosynthesis resulting in plants staying green longer. > Protecting against oxidative stress also complimenting the greening effect. > Enhancing nitrogen uptake and utilization in the plant. > Improving water use efficiency and enhances photosynthetic properties of the plant. Promotes seed uniformity and size.

Growth Stages Beginning Bloom (R1) Plants at the R1 stage (V7 to V10 vegetative stage) are 15 to 18 inches tall. They have one open flower at any node on the main stem. Full Bloom (R2) Soybean plant is between inches high. An open flower is visible at one of the top two nodes on the main stem. At least one of the two upper nodes has a fully developed leaf. This stage is also seen as the V8-V12 vegetative growth stage. Beginning Pod (R3) Plants are between inches tall, equivalent to the V11-V17 stage. On the upper four nodes on the main stem with a fully developed leaf, a pod is 3/16 long. Plants at this stage can be severely affected by stress, resulting in a lowering of total pod number, bean number per pod or smaller seed size. Favorable conditions at this time will result in greater pod numbers per plant. Full Pod (R4) Plants are 28 to 39 inches tall with full pods. Pods of ¾ of an inch are present at one of the four most upper nodes of the plant. R4 is characterized by rapid pod growth and the start of seed development. At this stage, plants are very sensitive to stress. Photos used with permission from Iowa State University Extension
