2 Extremely high final adhesion on all kinds of substrates The HERMAsuperPerm (63S) pressure-sensitive adhesive is distinguished by such a high final adhesion that labels on which it is used cannot even be removed from lacquered packing material and many other polar and non-polar surfaces such as paper, carton, plastic or steel without being destroyed themselves or leaving a visible residue on the surface. The 63S pressure-sensitive adhesive is highly resistant against water, hot air and various solvents. It is also very resistant to ageing. Since it is a dispersion adhesive, corresponding adhesive materials can still be processed despite a relatively high application of adhesive if the matrix stripping is carried out directly after the punching. Due to its versatile, universal usability, 63S is an optimal alternative wherever long-term labelling solutions in the area of product labelling or seals to verify originality, ensure safety and support monitoring are needed. In the HERMA test lab, the pressuresensitive adhesive has been tested extensively on all kinds of substrates. 3 Long-term labelling For long-term labels used for product labelling, it is not just the longevity of the label material that is decisive, but also the permanent final adhesion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive. There is almost no end to the variety of substrates to which labels need to be attached. 4 Security labelling The HERMAsuperPerm (63S) pressure-sensitive adhesive opens up all kinds of ways to provide medicinal products and other packaging and medical devices with a security label in a particularly economical way. Such a tamper-evident feature is prescribed according to EU guideline 2016/161/EU for prescription medication. HERMAsuperPerm (63S) is distinguished by its high final adhesion, so that seal labels using this adhesive cannot be removed from folding boxes with dispersion coating and many other polar and non-polar surfaces such as paper, carton, but also plastic and steel without being destroyed itself or leaving visible residue on the surface. This function can be additionally strengthened by applying security punches to the label.
