20 BW on HANA vs. BW4/HANA BW on HANA New objects have been developed in BW on HANA to leverage the HANA platform New objects replace old objects like InfoCubes developed for BW on AnyDB New objects are recommended, but old objects still functionable (compatibility) Upgrade path for existing installations to BW on HANA Customers can then subsequently optimize their models and architecture for HANA in own speed BW4/HANA Can be (simplified) seen as BW on HANA but without old objects Clean new system, streamlined for HANA only Perfect for new installations Will be the future Our curriculum: Is BW4/HANA ready, as we only use new objects!
