3 Functional Locations Functional Locations are elements at a technical, organizational or territorial structure (e.q. functional unit of a line/plant) Management of individual maintenance data Maintenance activities at technical objects Documentation and verification of maintenance activities Collecting and analyze technical data Create commercial reports 3

4 Equipments Equipments are independent, technical economic goods to be maintained. The equipments form other levels below the functional location. The installation place arises from the binding to the functional location for an equipment. Equipments are technical objects or part of technical objects Equipments are maintained. 12 Equipments Equipments are maintained objects Equipments are created if you have more then one equal technical objects and you can use these objects at different assets You can create maintenance plans for equipments The maintenance date includes all relevant data's from the equipment You can create work orders and notifications for equipments You can create technical and commercial reports for equipments 12

21 BOM Bill of Material A BOM (maintenance part list) is an complete, formally built up list of all components which belong to a technical object. She contains the material numbers of the single components as well as her amount and the quantity unit. A BOM includes stock or non stock spare parts or assemblies which can be described in each case again with the help of maintenance assembly. 21

22 Maintenance Assembly Transaction MMP1 Maintenance Assembly We use assemblies not only for the display of unities but also as a place holder or collector to the display of the maintenance materials in the technical objects (TP, EQ). Previously assemblies are created to the relevant technical objects, with the name IHEL (maintenance electrical) or IHME (maintenance mechanics) and the text of the technical object at the description. 22
