1 BT Billing Analyst 2.10 Quick guide

2 Using a variety of reports and its key, BT Billing Analyst enables you to examine your telephony spend across mobile, telemarketing, Featurenet, Openzone and more. The software is available free of charge to registered customers from and must be installed on a PC to be used. Customers wishing to use BT Billing Analyst must first register their copy of the software online. Registration is an important part of the process, as it will enable BT to advise customers of new enhancements and software releases of BT Billing Analyst. This Quick Guide is a map of the menu buttons within BT Billing Analyst providing you with a clear overview of the various menus and functions available. This allows you to navigate quickly and easily to the menu items you wish to use. If you are viewing this guide on a computer connected to the internet, you can access more detailed, illustrated instructions on using BT Billing Analyst by clicking on the title at the top of each page. 3 BT Billing Analyst Pro On launching BT Billing Analyst Pro, the main screen displays five panels: Bills, Utilities, Information, Set up and Enhanced Facilities. 4 Bills 1.1 Import Bills Import Bills Select the Data type to Import Click radio button to select import type Use the file dialogue box to find the data you wish to import. Click Open Are you starting a new Project? Click New Project File Are you appending a bill to an existing project? Click Append to Existing Project File Do you want to import multiple OneBills into separate projects? Click Multiple Project Destination Folder Create and save a name for your new Project Open the existing file to append Select destination folders for multiple projects Do you want to reselect a different project? Click Reselect Project NO Does the name already exist? YES NO Stop Import Append to Existing Project? NO Do you want to overwrite it? YES Do you want to Auto Tag calls on import? 5 Viewing Reports Select Report type (Summary, Itemised Call, Private Circuits, Mobile Handsets) from the panel on the Main Menu Screen. Select Project using the Select File button Select Parameters YES The coloured bars beneath each report button identify the parameters that can be applied to that report NO Select Reports Enable or disable Phone Book if appropriate Print report Export report if appropriate (Excel or CSV file) View report details Drill down if appropriate BT Billing Analyst 2.10 Quick guide 5

6 Bills -1.2 Summary Reports The report screens allow you to create tailored Summary, Itemised Call and Private Circuit reports by the use of parameters where appropriate. You can sort filter and print these reports according to your needs. BT Billing Analyst 2.10 Quick guide 6
