11 Other Improvements Reporting indentation It is now possible to apply an indentation to the format of a row. This feature facilitates the production of formatted reports, particularly for financial reports where indentations are commonly used. Note also that Entity Format templates can now be created or edited by PowerUsers as described below. BOARD Server Cluster enhancement Version 10 also introduces several performance optimizations in the BOARD Server Cluster technology. The internal mechanism that automatically synchronises the servers of a BOARD Cluster has been optimized to handle cases where one node appends and needs to synchronise a data set with a large number of new entity members or sparse combinations. These optimizations allow you to better support complex architectures with 24/7 availability requirements. Rules and entity formatting extended to Power Users Rules and entity formatting were previously limited to users with Developer licenses to enforce strongly centralized management of enterprise reporting. With BOARD 10, they can be implemented autonomously from the BOARD administrator, allowing any user with a Power User license to create and edit their own Rules and Entity Format templates. Existing Rules, which were previously created by a Developer user, can be viewed but not edited by Power Users, preserving security and control over existing Rule formulas. Concurrent access to Database design BOARD 10 allows developers to simultaneously access some key database design functions and to work in parallel on Rules, Procedures, and BEAM Models. Microsoft Office 2016 support BOARD 10 extends the native Excel, Word, and PowerPoint integration to the latest release of the Microsoft suite: Microsoft Office 2016.
