3 How to Log In to the Online Timesheet System Before you can log in to the JM Staffing online timesheet system, you will need to create an account using your address. To get started, use your mobile or desktop browser and go to When you first access the timesheet system, you should see a screen that looks like the one shown to the right. Click on the link that says New Here? to get started with the process of creating your new account. You should now see a screen that looks like the one shown to the right. You will need to enter your name and the address that you will use to log in to your online account. You should change the number of normal hours per work day ONLY IF YOU HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO DO SO. When you are finished, click the button that says Create Account. The system will generate a temporary password for you and send it to your . Please wait a few minutes if you do not see a message come through immediately. Once you have received the , you will know your user account address and temporary password. Click on the link provided in the and proceed with these credentials. After you have entered the information and clicked OK, you will see the screen shown to the left where you will now be able to create your own unique password. Create a new password that you will use for logging into the online timesheet system from this point forward. The system will require you to use a minimum of 8 characters, with a combination of letters and numbers. When finished, click the Change Password button. You will receive a confirmation if this is successful or an error if not.

4 Creating and Resuming Entry of a Timesheet To begin a new timesheet, click on the link at the main menu that says Enter/Review Timesheets (Employee Functions) The next screen will show you one or more options depending on what you have already completed. You will have an option to start a new timesheet as long as there is a recent pay period for which you have not already created a timesheet. To start a new timesheet, click the link that says Start a new timesheet. Alternatively, if you have already started your timesheet and saved it to come back to later, click on the link that says Resume timesheet entry or submit for approval. You will then see a list of recent timesheets that you have started but not yet submitted, similar to the image on the left here. Click on the pay period for which you would like to resume entry to continue.

5 Timesheet Entry Whether you start a new timesheet or resume one that you have previously saved, you should now see the main timesheet entry screen shown below. You will first need to enter the name of the client company that you are working for (not JM Staffing) along with the company s address and city. For each day you work, please enter your hours by selecting your time in from the dropdown list as well as your lunch out, lunch in, and time out. You also have the option to enter a comment for each shift if you wish. It may be helpful to use the comment area to communicate notes about your shift with your supervisor, but it is not required that you enter anything in the comment field. If for any reason you need to reset your hours, simply click the button at the right that says Clear This Row to reset your hours for that day only. When you are ready to save your timesheet, click the button at the bottom that says Save/Recalculate Timesheet. If there is a problem with your timesheet, you should see an error explaining what you need to change before your timesheet can be saved. In most cases, a required field is missing.

6 Submitting or Printing Your Timesheet Once your timesheet entry is completed, you have two options for proceeding. You can either submit your timesheet to your supervisor electronically or you can print a hard copy to have your supervisor sign. No matter which option you will use, the next step will be to click the button below your timesheet that says Submit or Print Timesheet. You will then see the screen shown to the right.

7 Submitting a Hard Copy with Supervisorr Signature If you will be printing a hard copy of the timesheet to have your supervisor sign, then select Print hard copy for supervisor and then click Submit. Click OK when prompted to confirm that you are ready to submit the timesheet, and you should then be taken to the page shown below. From this screen, click on the Print button to generate a hard copy for your supervisor to sign. When printed out, the form will have additionall fields at the bottom for the supervisor to fill in. If the supervisor does not approve the timesheet as you entered it into the system, she or he can write in corrections and notes on the hard copy. In this case, we ask thatt you also sign somewhere on the timesheet to indicate thatt you agree with the changes. Once it is approved and signed, you will need to upload a scan or photo of your timesheet. To do so, simply click on the Upload scan or photo off signed timesheet button and select the appropriate file. If you choose to take a photoo of your timesheet t, please make sure that the image is clean, clear, cropped if necessary, and in good lighting. Please log out of the timesheet system when you are finished (from the main menu) and close your browser to ensure that no-one else gains access to your account.

8 Submitting an Electronic Timesheet for Supervisor Approval If your supervisor will be reviewing and approving your timesheet online, then you will need her or his address. When you reach the timesheet submission screen, you will need to enter your supervisor s address and then click the Submit button. Click OK when you are prompted You will need to monitor your for notification of your timesheet approval. If the supervisor does not approve the timesheet as you entered it, her/his notes on the errors will be sent to you by . If this happens, you will need to log back into the timesheet system and make the necessary corrections to your timesheet (see the earlier section about resuming your saved timesheet). When your timesheet is approved you will receive an confirmation. Please log out of the timesheet system when you are finished (from the main menu) and close your browser to ensure that no-one else gains access to your account. Thank You!
