2 Why insulate from the inside? Interior insulation improves the energy performance of old and historic buildings or those where the decorativeconcrete or visible masonry is unable to be changed. Wooden lattice mechanically fixed to supporting wall Plasterboard screwed onto wooden lattice and finished (according to manufacturer s guidelines) Interior insulation with glued plasterboard plates Even and clean surface (masonry or concrete) Adherence primer (bituminous emulsion PC EM, water diluted :0) Mechanical fixation with PC F cramps /m FOAMGLAS T+ glued with PC 6 bituminous cold glue Plasterboard plates glued with PC 6 applied to the plates ( glue bands to about cm from the edge) 6 Plasterboard plate screwed (only at the top) at room s height onto supporting wall 7 Adherence primer for tile cement 8 Tiles glued with flexible glue onto the plasterboard plate (according to manufacturer s guidelines) Other solutions are available on request.

5 The 9 properties of FOAMGLAS Watertight FOAMGLAS is made from pure glass and doestherefore not take in moisture. Resistant to vermin FOAMGLAS can not be eaten and is notsuited as nesting material. FOAMGLAS does not rot. Incompressible Even under prolonged load pressure FOAMGLAS is extremely incompressible. FOAMGLAS is pressure-resistant up to 60 t/m. Non-combustible Pure glass is non-combustible (Europeanclassification A) and does not cause smoke production (smokenumber 0). Vapourtight Thanks to the hermetically sealed glass cells theinsulation value of FOAMGLAS stays constant for a long periodand under all circumstances. 6 Dimensionally stable The thermal properties of FOAMGLAS almost equal those of steel and concrete and allow extremely stable constructions. 7 Resistant to acids FOAMGLAS is resistant to organic solutionsand acids. 8 Easily workable FOAMGLAS can easily and precisely be sawn Ecological As far as use, production and recycling are concerned FOAMGLAS number. 9 Ecological FOAMGLAS is free of environmentally damaging flame retardants and propellants, no relevant eco-toxic components and it s re-usable.
