A medium duty thermal and acoustic insulation suitable for continuous operation up to 450 C. A heavy duty thermal and acoustic insulation specially formulated for high performance up to 650 C. A heavy duty specialty thermal insulation suitable for temperatures up to 820 C. It is formulated to minimise shrinkage and prevent devitrification in this temperature range. A high density thermal and acoustic insulation suitable for continuous operation up to 450 C. Flexible rockwool blankets with galvanised or stainless steel hexagonal wire netting prestitched to one face with fine wire to provide maximum strength, flexibility and vibration resistance. May be used for insulating pipes of greater than 200mm O.D. A moulded rigid sectional pipe insulation (SPI) available in a range of diameters and thicknesses to suit pipe sizes and temperatures. It's high density and compression resistance allow it to be used at operating temperatures up to 750 C. A precision engineered pipe insulation manufactured from high density rockwool slab. It offers excellent compression and thermal insulation properties at elevated temperatures. FIBERTEX Loose/HT Rockwool are loose fill insulation suitable for packing around valves and fittings. FIBERTEX Loose CR Rockwool is a low oil content granulated product suitable for cryogenic applications such as oxygen plants. A semi-rigid rockwool batt enclosed in a strong thin white polymer film with provision for the baffle to be hung in a room or workspace from the overhead structure. 2

Maximum service temperatures are based on thermal performance and dimensional stability criteria. Rockwool products should not be installed on to surfaces already at operating temperatures in excess of 200 C but installed when surface is cooled and then progressively heated up, to minimise smoke release from the organic binders and reduce the risk of punking. FLEX-SKIN and other facings should be removed from the product where the temperature at interface is likely to exceed 120 C. Compression Resistance Rockwool products are resilient insulation materials which readily recover to their nominal thickness after the removal of a normal compressive load.when tested in accordance with ASTM 165: 1992 Procedure B, Bradford products compress under the load as shown in the accompanying graph. Reduction in Nominal Thickness (%) Compressive Loading (kpa) Fibertex 350 Fibertex 450 Fibertex 650 Fibertex 820 Fibertex HD Moisture Resistance Exposure of Rockwool to a controlled atmosphere of 50 C and 95% relative humidity for four days results in moisture absorption of less than 0.2% by volume in accordance with ASTM C1104. Bradford FIBERTEX Rockwool contains water repellent additives to provide excellent resistance to water penetration. It is non hygroscopic and will absorb water only if forced in under pressure.when tested in accordance with BS2972, Total Immersion in Water, Rockwool absorbs less than 1% moisture by volume. Should Rockwool insulation become wet, full thermal efficiency will be restored on drying out. Corrosion Resistance Rockwool products have a ph which is slightly alkaline and will not corrode steel.to maintain this condition protection must be provided against contamination from external sources. Bradford FIBERTEX Rockwool are ph tested in accordance with ASTMC871:1989 and BS3958 Part 5:1986. Bradford FIBERTEX Rockwool has also been tested in accordance with ASTM C795 and are deemed as suitable for applications involving austenitic stainless steel. Bradford FIBERMESH products use galvanised mesh as standard, however stainless steel mesh is also available for use in higher temperature applications. Vibration Resistance Bradford FIBERMESH Rockwool is stitched to wire mesh, making the blankets especially resistant to fall-out under conditions where vibration is present. Bradford FIBERMESH Rockwool is recommended in situations involving both vibration and high temperatures where standard bonded insulation materials may be less resistant to the effects of vibration.
