4 General description of the project Work to be executed while the existing track is in operation Extension from 1 to 2 railway tracks over a 4 km stretch from Venjar to Eidsvoll (to the east of the existing one) Four bridges (Nessa, Kvisldalen, Mork, Ålborgveien) and two new culverts to be build in parallel with the existing ones Soft-soil tunnel at Eidsvoll (Wergeland tunnel) to be build in parallel with the existing one Adjustments of track system at Eidsvoll station 4

Work to be executed while the existing track is in operation Extension of the existing railway track (filling into Vorma) including a new 7,5 km double railway from Eidsvoll to Langset 900 m long railway bridge over Vorma near Minnesund From Venjar to Wergeland tunnel it is planned to reuse the existing power supply infrastructure. Modification of the of existing signal system on the stretch Venjar to Eidsvoll (Siemens) New power supply infrastructure and new signal system (Thales) from Eidsvoll to Langset Several technical buildings, temporary roads and temporary and permanent landfills 5

6 Contract strategy Estimated contract value VEN: 1 2 billion NOK Estimated contract value ENL: 1 1,8 billion NOK The tender process is divided in two steps Request for information as basis for a prequalification Technical/commercial proposal as basis for an evaluation and a contract award NS 8405 adjusted to Bane NOR requirements (Norwegian Building and Civil Engineering Contract) Contact language is Norwegian. 9 Organization and project follow-up Bane NOR will establish site team(s) at contractor s site(s) in order to obtain efficient and open communication with contractor s personnel throughout all phases of the planning and execution Contractor shall regard this team as a support to their work and utilize these key personnel to achieve a common successful project execution 9

10 Bane NOR s expectations to Contractors HSE Zero harm vision Execute the work in accordance with Bane NOR s Zero harm vision Contractor shall ensure and demonstrate implementation of the highest HSE standards Management systems Contractors shall use a professional management system to plan and execute the work Project control, document management, risk management, change management, design verification etc. Experienced and professional resources Contractor shall provide a project management organization with experienced and competent personnel Contractor shall develop an integrated project organization including main subcontractors Learning organization and continuous improvement Contractor shall document a commitment to continual learning and improvement within own organisation Open dialogue Bane NOR and contractor shall have an open dialog and cooperate on a discipline level 10
