1 Nutech Paint was founded in 1972 and for nearly 40 years has manufactured high quality roof, concrete, texture and house paint, earning the Company a unique position in the Australian and overseas protective coatings market. Nutech relocated to its current Head Office in Keppler Circuit Seaford in 1991 and currently owns and occupies 9 manufacturing/warehouse and administration factories. Nutech operates a new 1000 square metre trade and wholesale depot in Rydalmere Sydney, first established in 1994 and a 500 sq.m. retail/trade paint outlet in Thomastown in In 1998 licensed distributors were established in Queensland and Western Australia. Nutech subsequently purchased the Waterford Queensland business from the distributor in Nutech currently exports Worldwide including the UK, NZ, Europe, Asia and China, Using creative chemistry, premium raw materials and state of the art manufacturing, Nutech's production facilities remain focused on leading edge coating technologies to meet the ever changing challenges in our market and the environment. Nutech has developed substantial technology in the manufacture and application of a wide range of architectural, industrial and specialty paints and coatings. Multi award winning Nutech Paint was awarded the Best Business Award at the 2004 Frankston and Peninsula Business Awards and was a finalist in the 2005 Telstra Victorian Small Business Awards. Distribution of Nutech products through diverse suppliers including company owned outlets, independent and specialist paint shops, garden supplies, concrete and trade supplies, hardware stores, roofing companies, other major paint Companies including Wattyl, Haymes and Dulux and through direct trade and retail sales, has seen the establishment of a secure and very diverse market base. Our comprehensive product range includes the following; Nutech roof coatings were first manufactured by Nutech in 1972 in Seaford, Melbourne. The business has expanded over the last 38 years and is now Australia s leading supplier of innovative and technically superior roof coatings. ` Page 1 of 7

2 More than 650,000 roofs have been coated with Nutech roof coatings over the past 38 years. Nutech manufactured more than 3.5 million litres of roof coatings in In 1997 Nutech developed Tileflex 2000 roof coating after nearly three years research and development. Tileflex 2000 is now highly regarded as the best roof coating in Australia. Tileflex 2000 is enhanced with DuPont Teflon to deliver superior performance on any roof surface. Tileflex 2000 has greater water repellency, significantly higher gloss and a surface which will stay cleaner than conventional acrylic roof paint, as proven by independent CSIRO testing. Nutech is currently the only company licensed by DuPont to use Teflon in a roof coating worldwide. In 1998 Nutech developed Insulguard which is a highly energy efficient insulative paint. Insulguard has found a wide variety of applications including poultry and piggery sheds, grain silos, storage tanks, telecommunication towers and equipment sheds and metal roof sheeting on commercial and industrial buildings. Insulguard is based on nano ceramic technology developed originally by NASA. Insulguard has widespread application potential in hot climates and is suitable for insulating in both high and low temperature conditions. In 2007 Nutech released NXT Cool Zone, a technically advanced heat reflecting roof coating available in a wide range of colours including dark colours such black and charcoal. NXT Cool Zone will keep the surface of a roof up to 30 C cooler which means it will be 6 C to 10 C cooler inside the home and is provided with a 12 year Manufacturer s Warranty. This remarkable new heat reflecting roof coating utilises revolutionary thermal protection technology to reduce the amount of the Sun's heat energy absorbed by a roof, dramatically lowering heat build up, even with dark traditional roof colours. For the first time a roof coating reduces the heat of your roof allowing occupants to live more comfortably without sacrificing colour choice. This saves energy and cooling costs. It also reduces greenhouse emissions and the impact of buildings on the environment. As a direct result of NXT Cool Zone the reduced requirement for air conditioning will save money due to; Water savings from reduced evaporative air conditioning Reduced electricity usage conserving energy and valuable resources Lower urban heat island build up resulting in reduced ozone and healthier living. In 1998 Nutech purchased Bayol Texture Coatings and the product range was reviewed and rebadged under the Nutech Decratex label. Trowelcraft was established in the 1950 s and was regarded for many years as the leading supplier of texture and render coatings in Victoria. The Company was purchased by Seaford Plastering in the early 90 s and the Company renamed Bayol Texture Coatings. Page 6 of 7
