10 The difference between Ameripolish Concrete Color Systems Classic Dyes Classic dyes are recommended to be mixed with ColorSolve only and has a mixing time of approximately 3 hours before applying. It is ideal for soft, porous concrete due to its quick flash time and not over penetrating down deep into the slab. Classic is available in 22 colors. Surelock Dyes Surelock dyes can be mixed with ColorSolve or water and has no dwell time after mixing. When mixing with water residual may be present. It is ideal for hard, dense concrete due to its slower flash time allowing for better penetration. Surelock is available in 24 colors. Dye-N-Seal Pro Dyes Dye-N-Seal Pro dyes are recommended to be mixed with ColorSolve only and has a dwell time of approximately 3 hours before applying.
