5 3. Introduction LEO ENGINEERING is a Free Zone Limited Liability Company formally known as Atlantic Engineering, formed and established under the government of the United Arab Emirates. Leo Engineering has engaged in trading, steel fabrication and erection activities throughout U.A.E. in collaboration with organizations in North America, Europe and Asia, since We are experienced in the designing, processing, manufacturing and installation of steel structures, steel buildings (workshops, etc.), power plant projects, bridge structures, high rise buildings, petrochemical projects, to name a few. We also trade fire-rated and construction related products, including fire-rated doors, windows, and equipment. Our strength and insight in engineering technology is primarily based on the fact that we are a professional group of experienced and qualified entrepreneurs and engineers, managing the company, and overseeing all projects and sales. Our team is well versed, confident and fully equipped to handle any job from start to finish. We ensure complete adherence to transaction and project requirements within the provided time frame without compromising the quality of products or work and performance. Health, Safety & Environment Policy (HSE) Our Company s Health, Safety & Environment Policy is as follows: We are committed to achieving excellence in the projects delivered to clients while at the same time, aim to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all personnel. We accomplish this by maintaining a vigorous accident prevention program and ensure that activities pose no threat to environment, safety and health for those who may be affected directly or indirectly by adhering to the following principles: Working towards a Total Culture of Safety and accident-free workplace at all times. Comply with all relevant occupational health and safety statutory regulatory and other contractual requirements. Adoption of good and safe practices to reduce and eliminate the incidences of injuries such as falling from heights and injuries due to improper lifting operations and stacking of materials. Encourage or influence our clients and sub-contractors to promote workplace safety awareness and responsibility through the adoption of safe practices and construction methods with the aim of reducing injuries at offices, workshops and worksites. Monitor and ensure awareness of safety issues for all employees, suppliers and customers. Committed to the continual improvement of our occupational health and safety performance through effective Objectives, Targets and Programs. Ensure that all our processes and practices are environmentally friendly and do not cause any damage to the environment This Health, Safety & Environment Policy shall be communicated to all employees, made available to any interested parties and shall be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant and up to date.
