Recommendations are given based on mathematical modelling results and can include the following: 1. Structural enhancement 2. Structural modification 3. Layout and plan recommendations 4. Security systems SODIS LAB can perform unique applied element modelling (AEM) techniques to analyze a structure s response to explosions, terrorist acts and earthquakes. AEM is the same technique as used to analyze the September 11 terrorist attacks and the subsequent collapse of the World Trade Center. Additionally, SODIS LAB uses the advanced finite element modelling software ANSYS for their calculations and is able to create mathematical models of any complexity and scale from single components to full-size building designs where each floor is unique.
