4 PHILPRIME started its business in 1969 as a trading company and foreign products like of dyestuffs, detergents and auxillaries. From trading it moved to manufacturing various chemicals as needed by different industries. Among others, the company has done refining of glycerol to pharmaceutical grade and refining of used heating oils. After almost two decades of existence as Philprime Chemical Corporation, it registered a new company in the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) in January 30, 1990 which was approved in January 31, 1990 as PHILPRIME GLOBAL CORPORATION. 4
