Laboratory Testing Fees/ Attributes & Variables SEI currently has approved one (1) laboratory that may conduct testing to this standard. The following information should be used as guide when selecting a lab to test your models. The schedule of rates for testing at these laboratories can be used to estimate the total cost of testing for all the models that are to be certified. 49 of 123

As a "worst case," for an initial submittal, the specimens needed would include the following: - 14 helmets - 1 copy of label - 1 copy of user information - 1 linear foot of each thread - 3 ft 2 trim material The total amount of the testing required will depend on the specific configuration of the model(s) being tested. In addition, for multiple models and variants using identical components, testing will be consolidated wherever permissible to minimize cost. NOTE: SEI adds a 10% surcharge to all testing when invoiced to the participant. 59 of 123
