Will it adhere to the Pipe? Will the material have enough ductility and tensile strength? Can the material survive the operating conditions? Use of Multilayer concept to reduce the consumption of expensive material Will these layers adhere to each other? Is the shear strength enough to survive installation and in-service stresses? Can the outer layer be replaced/tailored to suit the installation vessel? Is the coefficient friction enough for the installation process? Will the coating be damaged during clamping, suction lifting, etc.? 10
