1 PERSONAL PROFILE John is a commercially aware, computer literate, versatile, hands-on manager with extensive practical experience of all commercial, financial and contractual matters associated with major Building, Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Contracts. John s many years employment in contracting at operational and management levels have imparted an in-depth knowledge of all facets of the construction industry from design stage through to contract completion and financial settlement. John has had extensive involvement, in recent years, with the administration of specialist engineering activities associated with intelligent buildings. He has been directly involved in setting up documentation relating to Joint Venture agreements, consultancy agreements, and contract and sub-contract agreements and documentation, and administering, controlling and monitoring the activities of such parties in the context of the provisions of such documentation. Following contract award, John is equipped with the knowledge and experience to identify the consequences of change to quantity, scope and sequence of contracted works and the programming and financial effects of such change. John s extensive experience of such matters include identification of delay and disruption based upon practical programming experience augmented by computer-aided techniques, and the defence of contractual claims arising as a result of such delay and disruption.
