3 FOREWORD The Annual Report of the Louisiana Tax Commission presents the following information for the year 2017 assessment of all property in the State of Louisiana for ad valorem purposes, (2) State and Local taxes levied and (3) exemptions. During the past year the total assessment of all property increased $915,676,508. The total assessment for 2017 is in excess of $48.6 billion. Respectfully submitted, Lawrence E.
