Adequate drinking water and sanitary facility should be provided for t he construction workers at site. The safe disposal wastewater and solid wastes generated during construction phase should be e nsured. P artly U tility services like drinking water and sanitation facility construction labor at our project site h ave been provided. H owever, y need ensure improvement hygienic conditions at labour colony and safe disposal waste w ater from this area. v. Provision should be made for supply fuel (kerosene or cooking g as); utensils such as pressure cookers etc. laborers during c onstruction phase. v i. v ii. C ommon Kitchen facility is already re. All laborers be engaged for construction should be screened for health and adequately treated before engaging m work at s ite.. For disinfection waste water, use ultra violet radiation, not c hlorination. Complie d v iii. All p soil excavated during construction must be sred for use i n horticulture/landscape development within project site. i x. T he amount excavat ed s oil in proposed project is being sred for furr H orticulture/landscape. Disposal muck, including excavation material during construction phase should not create any adverse effects on neighboring c ommunities and should be disposed f necessary precautions for 2

3 g eneral safety and health aspects. x. Soil & Ground water samples will be tested ascertain that re is no threat ground water quality by leaching heavy metals and o r xic contaminants. Soil quality and ground water are being tested from site by an approved lab n amed as EMRTC Consultants Pvt. Ltd. since January, 2008 at regular interval. T he results are within norms. x i. C onstruction spoils, including bituminous material and or hazardous materials, must not be allowed contaminate water sources and dump sites for such material must be secured so that t hey should not leach in ground water. x ii. T he Diesel generar sets below sulphur diesel type used during construction phase and should conform rules made under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, prescribed for air and noise e mission standards. x iii. Vehicles hired for bringing construction material site should b e in good condition and should conform applicable air and noise emission standards and should be operated only during non- peak h ours. x iv. Ambient noise levels should conform residential standards both d uring day and night. Incremental pollution loads on ambient air and noise quality should be closely monired during construction p hase. x v. x vi. AAQ and noise quality are being tested from site by an approved lab named as EMRTC Consultants Pvt. Ltd. since January, 2008 at regular interval. Results a re w ithin prescribed limits CPCB. Fly Ash should be used as building material in construction as per provisions Fly Ash Notification September, 1999 and a mended as on August, 2003 (The above condition is applicable only i f project is within 100 km rmal power station. R eady mixed concrete must be used in building construction. P As are using ready mixed concrete in construction material. x vii. Srm water control and its re- u se as per CGWB and BIS standards f or various applications. Ro p and surface run f rain water will be harvested as per standards. T he surface run f will go in MDA line. x viii. Water demand during construction should be reduced by use pre- m ixed concrete, curing agents and or best practices referred. Pre- m ixed concrete has been used for our construction work. x ix. Permission draw Ground water shall be obtained from c ompetent authority prior construction/operati on project. Not a pplicable x x. As above mentioned site falls in Safe Category area on ground water resource consideration, permission from CGWA is not required for withdrawal g round water. S eparation grey and black water should be done by use dual p lumbing line for separation grey and black water. x xi. T reatment 100% grey water by decentralized treatment should be 3

4 d one. x xii. Fixtures for showers, ilet flushing and drinking should be low f low eir by use aerars or pressures reducing devices or s ensor based control. x xiii. Use glass may be reduced up 40% reduce electricity consumption and load on air- conditioning. If necessary, use high q uality double glass with specia l reflective coating in windows. x xiv. Ro should meet prescriptive requirement as per Energy Conservation Building Code by using appropriate rmal insulation m aterial fulfill requirement. x xv. A dequate measures reduce air and noise pollution c onstruction keeping in mind CPCB norms on noise limits. during x xvi. Opaque wall should meet prescriptive requirement as per Energy Conservation Building Code which is proposed be mandary for all air-conditioned spaces while it is aspirational for non air- conditioned spaces by use appropriate rmal insulation m aterial fulfill requirement. It has been stated by PAs that sewage/grey water will be routed common STP proposed be developed by Meerut Development Authority. At present, sewage/grey water is being treated in existing STP MDA. However, t his issue need be referred Ministry, Delhi for seeking furr d irection/clearance. Rain water harvesting for ro run- f and surface run- f, as plan submitted should be implemented. Before recharging surface run f, pre- treatment must be done remove suspended matter, oil a nd grease. Rain water harvesting for ro runf and surface runf has been provided. Pre treatment facilities also exist for removal suspended matter and oil and g rease before recharge. ( ii) The solid waste generated should be properly collected and s egregated. Wet garbage should be composted and dry / inert solid waste should be disposed f approved sites for land filling a fter recovering recyclable material. Any hazardous waste including biomedical waste should be disposed as per applicable Rules & norms with necessary a pprovals Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board. A ssured Not a pplicable 4

5 T he green belt design along periphery plot shall achieve attenuation facr conforming day and night noise standards p rescribed for residential land use. The open spaces inside plot should be suitably landscaped and covered with vegetation i ndigenous variety.. I ncremental pollution loads on ambient air quality, noise and water quality should be periodically monired after commissioning o f project. Application solar energy should be incorporated for illumination o f common areas, lighting for gardens and street lighting in addition provision for solar water heating. A hybrid system or fully solar s ystem for a portion apartments should be provided. ( ix) T raffic congestion near entry and exit points from roads adjoining proposed project site must be avoided. Parking should b e fully internalized and no public space should be utilized. ( x) A Report on energy conservation measures confirming energy c onservation norms finalise by Bureau Energy Efficiency should be prepared incorporating details about building materials & technology, R & U Facrs etc and submit Ministry in three m onths time. PART- B GENERAL CONDITIONS i. T he environmental safeguards contained in EIA report should be implemented in letter and s pirit. T hey have assured for same. i i.
