16 Heating System use of stainless steel 6 m pipes bent on radius and welded on site very stable wall thickness > 2 mm resistant against stones and other contaminants Attachment to the digester inner wall (most efficient heat transfer to the substrate) Arrangement approx. 1,2 to 1,5 m over bottom No lowering of heat input by sedimentation sink layers No heat stresses due to a floating bearing Stainless steel can conduct heat approx. 40 x better than PE No substrate adherence due to a max. flow temperature of 65 C (automatic control) 16
