2 Introduction Heber Light & Power is a Utah Energy Services Interlocal and provides electric service to nearly 9,000 customers in the beautiful Heber Valley. Created in 1909 by the communities of Heber City, Midway City and Charleston Town. Heber Light & Power owns and operates two hydroelectric generators and three gas/diesel generating plants with an overall generating capacity of 18 megawatts. This summer the valley's electric usage peaked at 28 megawatts.
