7 Technologies Deployment of Technologies» Fluid Propylene Glycol based fluids o Reduction in toxicity Bio-propanediol based fluids o Replaces traditional crude oil in the glycol production process o Sustainable corn sources»deicing Trucks Blend to Temperature Allows for the fluid mix for real time temperature Forced Air Ability to use forced air for snow removal and then application of fluid 7

8 Technologies Deployment of Technologies (continued)»weather Forecasting Weather Support to Deicing Decision Making (WSDDM) o System uses Doppler radar, surface weather stations and snow gauges located near the airport, which accurately measures the amount of water in the snow o Allows for better prediction which allows for better response 8
