31 Take Aways Water matters to the industry and water management is becoming a necessity in the industry Industry is taking the lead in contributing to innovative solutions The E4Water Dow Terneuzen case study shows that - Mild desalination technology to treat miscellaneous brackish water streams is feasible - The mild desalination concept can be an attractive approach to produce water for industrial applications in delta areas across the world - These delta s will increasingly be characterized by the presence of limited fresh but abundant brackish water sources - Mild desalination can become a game changing solution for decreasing fresh water availability
