5 Scenario #1 Safe Environment The diocese is seeking to update its training requirement for adults to complete safe environment training on a three year cycle from its current policy of only doing training once. The diocese needs to train thousands of people who previously completed training, some as many as a dozen years earlier and put them into the new training every three year cycle ARTHUR J. 7 Scenario #3 Skills Training: Employment Law for Managers Father is the only priest at a small rural parish with only one employee, his trusted right hand administrative assistant. He is faced with an employment problem. She shared that she is expecting and intending to take off three months when the baby is born. 11 Scenario #1 - Solution Safe Environment Diocese implements online training that people can complete from any computing device including smart phones, tablets and standard computers. Online training program tests users on knowledge after they learn course content, issues training certificates automatically, tracks results and reports info to local and diocesan administration 24 x 7. Training system sends reminder notices to users when due for renewal. Users also get new background checks as part of training process as systems are integrated ARTHUR J. GALLAGHER & CO. 12 Scenario #2 - Solution Benefits Training HR department puts together a presentation about new health insurance program with comparison of old and new coverages for all employees. The presentation is loaded into online training system and includes a quiz to confirm employee understanding of benefits and an acknowledgement of benefits. A version is made for supervisors as well. 13 Scenario #3 - Solution Skills Training: Employment Law for Managers The diocese purchases an online training module about employment law for managers and customizes it to its state and local requirements. All supervisors and clergy are required to complete the course as part of their employment.
