4 About HR Connect My Learning Learning is key to attract, engage, develop and retain the best employees. Our new global platform HR Connect My Learning gives you access to the CWT learning and development opportunities you need to build your future. To Get Started Your learning plan Your profile and help pages Your learning history Find your training in the four areas for development Access and View Your Profile 1. Go to HR Connect and click on the My Learning icon. 2. Click on My Profile to access your profile. Here, you can change your language and access system notifications. My Profile contains your general information directly from HR Connect. If you see incorrect information, please contact the regional HR Service Center or your local HR to request a change. Mountain of Development By default, the system is in English. The system is also available in Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (BR), Russian and Spanish. To change your language, go to the language drop down list and select your language. The change will be visible after you log out and access again. 5 Employee Employee Find a Training Register for a Training Launch E-Learnings My Training My History Find a Training You can browse through the four training pillars or use the search box to find your training. Four Training Pillars 1. From the homepage, click on one of the four pillars to enter. Each pillar is divided into subcategories. 2. When you find the training you need, click on the name to open it. This page shows more information about the training and you can enroll or launch the training. Job Skills Self Development Corporate Leadership Skills CWT Training Search Box 1. Type the name of the training or keywords in the search box and click Search. 2. Narrow down your results by using the categories on the left to filter. These categories show you the type of training and languages. 6 Employee Employee Register for a Training Registering for a training is easy. Some training require registration and approval. Launch E-Learnings E-Learnings and videos are categorized as Course. If you use the search box, you can filter by this type of training to ensure your results only show online training. To follow a training that is part of a learning plan, you have to register for the learning plan first. Then go to My Training, click on the learning plan, select the training and register. If you are using the pillars to find a training, you have to click on the arrow next to the training name and click on Add Plan. Register No approval required 1. Find the training you wish to complete and click on the Name. Once you register for the learning plan, you will access to the list of the scheduled dates for the event. 2. Read the description carefully and make sure the training is applicable to your role, country and language 3. Click Enroll to register. Register Approval required Click on the Training to request the approval. An is automatically sent to your manager. You will be notified by once the training has been approved. If the e-learning is part of a learning plan, you first click on Register for the learning plan or Add Plan. Then go to My Training, click on the learning plan and select the e-learning to add this to your plan. Using the four pillars 1. Find your training, click on the name of your e-learning and click the Launch Course Window icon. Using the search box 1. Find your training, click on the Name of your e-learning and the launch page will open. 2. Click the button Click here to launch the course. The training will open in a new window. 3. After finishing the e-learning, complete the evaluation to ensure your training is marked completed and saved to your learning history. Click on the Next button. A new page will open, answer the questions and press Submit. Or HR Connect My Learning Waiting List If no more seats are available, you can click on Add to Wait List. You will be notified by the training coordinator if a seat comes available. 7 Employee Employee My Training My Training My History My History The My Training dashboard shows you the list of training assigned to you and the learning plans and courses you registered for. The My History dashboard shows you the list of trainings and e-learnings you have completed. View Training Registrations You can easily view your registrations for planned training in My Training. Click on the training to view more information, including start date and time, available seats, etc. Relaunch E-learnings If you have started an e-learning but not completed it, you can relaunch it by clicking on the training and then on the arrow on the right side. Cancel Instructor-led Registrations Select the training you want to cancel. A new window opens with the details of the training. Click on the Drop button to cancel your registration. A confirmation message will appear on the screen. Filter You can view your list of completed trainings by date or filter them by name. Export Learning History Click on the Export button to export your learning history to a PDF or Excel file. Click on Transcript to download the report in the selected format. Removing Learning Plans Learning Plans cannot be removed by a user or supervisor. All Learning plans must be removed by contacting HR Services. 12 Quick Reference Guide HR Connect My Learning 13

8 Manager Manager Develop Your Team My Team Develop Your Team Assign Courses to Employees Register Employees for Instructor-led/Webinar Training Development Reporting With My Team, you can easily manage your staff s learning and development. In this tab, you can add and manage e-learning, enroll for Instructor-led training, monitor the completion status of courses and run reports for your employee. Supervisor View My Team displays the list of employees that report directly to you. By moving your mouse over the arrow next to an employee s name you can view the indirect reports. Search for Employees Search for members of your team to view information or perform various actions. 1. Expand the Filters section and click the letter of the Username or click All to see a list of all direct reports. 2. There are two Actions drop down lists, which enable you to perform various actions such as manage assignments or run reports. 3. Check the box Include Indirect Reports to see the users that report to your direct reports. View Training Activity 1. Check the box of the user(s) you want to view. 2. Select the Action from the drop down list. A new window displays the relevant information. 3. Click User next to the My Team heading on the top left side of the page to return to the main page. 14 Quick Reference Guide HR Connect My Learning 15

9 Manager Manager Assign Courses to Employees Follow the steps below to assign courses (e-learnings) to your employees in My Team. 1. Select the check box of an individual user or all employees you want to assign a training to. 2. Click the Actions drop down list, select Map to Learning Plan. 3. The employees names are presented on a new page. Click the Select Learning Plan button. 4. A new window will open, search for the course name / description. Check the box on the right side and click Return Selected. Register Employees for Instructor-led/Webinar Training Follow the steps below to register your employees for instructor-led/webinar training in My Team. 1. Select the check box of an individual user or all employees you want to assign a training to. 2. Click the Actions drop down list, select Map to Enrollment. 3. The employees names are presented on a new page. Click the Select Enrollment button. 4. A new window will open, search for the course name / description. Check the box on the right side and click Return Selected. 5. Pre-status is Nominated. Click View Enrollment Details to see specific information about the training. Click User in the progress bar to return to the My Team page. 5. The course(s) will display under the user box. Click Map Users and on the next page, assign a due date (if required) by clicking in the due Date field. The course has now been assigned. 6. Click User in the progress bar to return to the My Team main page. Cancel Registration To cancel a registration for an employee, follow the same process as registration, but change the status for the employee to User Dropped or Deleted. Approving Employee s Training When an employee tries to enroll themselves for a training that requires supervisor approval, they will be prompted to send a request. You will receive a notification via to approve the request. Click on the link in the and approve or deny the request. Click on to see the user s existing assignments and due dates to determine when the course can be completed. Removing Learning Plans Learning Plans cannot be removed by a user or supervisor. All Learning plans must be removed by contacting HR Services. 16 Quick Reference Guide HR Connect My Learning 17

10 Manager Development Reporting You are able to run reports for your employees. 1. Click on the Action menu and select BI Reporting. Customer reports are created for you. 2. To run a report, simply click on the report name. Run a Report 1. Click on the report name. 2. On the Fields tab, leave the default fields or uncheck to add/delete fields that will be included in your report. Then click on Next. 3. Select the output format, such as PDF or Excel (XLS). Then click Build Report. 4. In Progress will appear beside the report name. Click Refresh in the top right corner of the page to get the report results. 5 Click on the Time/date stamp beside the report name to open it. Open the file once it has downloaded to view the report.
