19 Hiring Process You must apply via the Transition website to be considered for employment on IRES Attach resume and fill out all sections of the application JRDC employees who apply before the 11 Oct deadline will be given first consideration Time away from work for your interview must be coordinated with your employer At your interview, you will receive Specific information of benefits Details concerning benefit eligibility, personnel time off accruals, insurance options and coverage, 401(k) benefits, etc. 19
20 Offers We anticipate distributing offers starting in mid-january Offers may come from either Jacobs or a teammate Each teammate has comparable pay and benefits Medical, dental, prescription drug, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) plans Retirement savings plans Supplemental life and accident coverage for yourself and your dependents Disability plans Reward/recognition plans Tuition reimbursement and training We will recognize JRDC length of service verified by your current employer to determine benefits accrual 20
21 Additional Notes Pre-employment drug screening will be required for all applicants New Employee Orientation Sessions will be held ~45 days prior to end of Transition (mid-january start) You will become an active Jacobs Team employee on 5 Mar 2018, the first day Jacobs is 100% responsible for all work and mission accomplishment We understand that work schedules and personal commitments may make it impossible for you to attend an interview, on-boarding sessions, or be present on 5 Mar Please let us know and we will make accommodations on a case-by-case basis 21
22 Rumor Control Jacobs is going to bring in lots of new people to displace current employees Jacobs intent is to hire from the JRDC workforce. We are highly interested in you coming to work for the Jacobs Team My employer has promised me a position elsewhere so I am not going to apply on the IRES Transition website If you do not apply, you cannot be considered for employment on IRES. Your employer may or may not be able to find you a comparable position on another contract in this area I have a more important job if I get hired by Jacobs rather than by one of the teammate companies 22 All Jacobs Team employees will have comparable pay and benefits.
