14 Training Programme Competency Standard Assessments Use at least 3 sources of evidence (skill checks, attestations, verbal/observation) Required to be achieved at 100% correct Carried out by registered assessors

15 APMIS Training Challenges New training has meant trainers requiring new skills and tools All trainers work towards the National Certificate in Adult Education & Training Not having input into recruitment meant a wide range of learning abilities Developed interactive training mechanisms (a fancy word for games), e.g. Who wants to be a millionaire, Trivial pursuit, hieroglyphics, active slides 1 & 2 Training to be completed within contracted time Added a training resource for accelerated understanding and learning Teaching understanding of new concepts Used real life analogies where possible
