20 Summary Faculty and Staff generally liked the Vision and Values put forward by the Chancellor (with the possible exception of BETTER) Results were similar when respondents provided their own terms, but many new items were added for Vision terms, only ENGAGED was mentioned by > 50% of respondents for Values terms, many items are mentioned. These data generally provide campus support for the Chancellor s statements on vision and values, along with suggestions for additional items to consider.
21 Recommendations Vision Replace Better with Student Centered Values Decouple Values and go with these five: Excellence, Integrity, Diversity, Innovation and Community
