2 STORE DONATION ATTENDANT (2 Open Positions) To accept and process donations of merchandise at a designated retail store site. Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager. High school diploma or GED desired, but not required. No experience necessary, will train on the job. Ability to communicate and understand English well enough to receive work and safety instructions and answer questions, as well as to communicate with management, co-workers, program participants, and the general public. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work rotating schedules including weekends. Ability to work overtime as required. Starting pay $9.00 per hour. LEAD SALES ASSOCIATE (7 Open Positions) To assist in managing retail store operations to achieve store revenue and expense goals. Position provides back up to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in their absence. Assists the Manager in training and leading sales associates, program participants and volunteers in the following areas: store and company policies and procedures, sorting/processing, selling, pricing, hanging, stocking, merchandising, cashiering, resolving customer service issues, and maintaining store housekeeping standards. E COMMERCE/ SHOPGOODWILL E COMMERCE LEAD- COLLECTIBLES (1 Open Position) To perform a variety of duties in support of Goodwill s E Commerce store. Supervises E Collectibles staff to ensure that all production and sales goals are met. High school diploma or GED required. (If applicant has no GED, a plan to pursue a GED would need to be established within the first six months on the job.) Must demonstrate above average knowledge of collectibles and E Commerce best practices. Forklift certification required. Must be able to distinguish between acceptable and rejected books. Must be somewhat familiar with online selling practices and procedures. One year previous supervisory experience and/or E Commerce experience. Must be familiar with shipping policies/practices. Must be able to direct, coach and address issues with staff in accordance with our company values. Intermediate PC skills. Able to operate ebay, Etsy, and shopgoodwill.com software. 4 MARKETING DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST (1 Open Position) To strengthen Goodwill s online presence through analytical thinking, strategic business knowledge, and the application of creative marketing abilities. To perform and manage a variety of support functions related to Goodwill s online presence and associated tools. To maintain internet properties to supports the goals of the Marketing & Communications Staff. Bachelor s Degree in marketing or business preferred. Four to six years of proven experience building online marketing programs. Experience with SEM, PPC, paid social media advertising, display and mobile advertising. A deep understanding of online analytics (web analytics, ad tracking, a/b/n testing, tag management, content management.) Microsoft Office experience required. Knowledge and skills necessary to identify what drives conversions and online engagement. Creative and analytical skills. Detail oriented and organized. Excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact with all levels of management, employees, clients and the public. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to produce results and meet deadlines. Able to work independently with little direction and multi-task while being productive and timely. Photoshop & WordPress experience a plus. CSS and HTML experience a plus. Computer graphics skills and working knowledge of the design and print process a plus. Ability to accept responsibility, take initiative, solve problems, and exercise good judgment. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Valid California driver s license, liability insurance, and a DMV record acceptable to Goodwill's insurance company. HUMAN SERVICES EMPLOYMENT TRAINING SPECIALIST/JOB COACH- VARIOUS PROGRAMS (1 Open Position) To provide supervision, training and support to adults with disabilities in community businesses and other job sites to assist in career development and to ensure integrated employment outcomes. This position also provides consultation to employers regarding hiring, training, supervising and supporting adults with disabilities; ensures quality of work at community or employer job sites; and completes required program documentation. High School diplomas or GED; some college courses in a related field preferred. Two years work experience in a variety of occupational areas with at least one year of experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred. Education may substitute for experience. At custodial job sites, applicants will be required to have prior experience and ability in performing janitorial functions. Familiarity with disabilities. Effective writing skills to prepare required program documentation and prepare memos, reports, etc. Effective interpersonal and communications skills to interface with both program participants and employers. Have own reliable vehicle, valid California driver s license, liability insurance, and a DMV record acceptable to Goodwill's insurance company. 4

5 BEHAVIORAL TRAINING SPECIALIST (1 Open Position) The purpose of the Community Based Services BTS position is to provide supervision, training, transportation, and support to adults with developmental disabilities who exhibit severe behavioral challenges, including physical and verbal aggression as well as other significant barriers in a partial site based environment. High School diploma or GED; some College Courses in a related field preferred. Two years work experience in a variety of occupational areas with at least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred, particularly working with individuals that exhibit challenging behaviors. Education may substitute for experience. Familiarity with disabilities. Have own reliable vehicle that can seat at least three (3) passengers with standard equipped seatbelts. Must possess valid California Driver s license, and carry minimal liability insurance. Must have a clean driving record and submit to routine DMV pull notice program. As the safe transportation of individuals is an important aspect of this position, employees must maintain a DMV record which remains in good standing and does not include DUI or reckless driving convictions. Failure to maintain a DMV record in good standing may result in separation from Goodwill of Orange County. Must possess a personal mobile phone and be willing to use said phone for official Goodwill use per Cell Phone Reimbursement Policy. Effective writing skills to complete required documentation. JOB DEVELOPER- DIRECT JOB PLACEMENT (1 Open Position) Provide education and consulting to businesses regarding hiring, training, supervising and supporting clients. Coordinate job placement activities leading to increased wages, self-sufficiency, self-esteem and other meaningful outcomes expressed by the client. B.A/B.S in human services field preferred or equivalent work experience. One-year relevant work experience working with a variety of people with many different disabilities. Valid California driver s license and auto liability insurance acceptable to Goodwill s insurance company. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Effective grammar, English and writing skills. PC Proficiency in MS Office. HUMAN RESOUCES HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR (1 Open Position) To administer and/or coordinate a variety of functions to support the activities of the Human Resources Department including processing termination documentation; EDD unemployment claims processing; 403(b) inquires, customer service, and retirement plan website data entry; and HRIS data input. This is a high-volume position requiring the ability to maintain confidentiality of information; to use initiative and good judgment in performing job functions; accuracy and timeliness in servicing department customers and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Position also requires flexibility and adaptability in an environment in which priorities change frequently and in which cross training and back-up support are each department member s responsibility. High School diploma plus some relevant college-level courses or HR certification preferred, or equivalent work experience/education combined. Two years relevant experience in a Human Resources environment. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Effective English/grammar skills; verbal and written communications. Proficient PC skills including MS Office and the Internet. Bi-Lingual Spanish or Vietnamese desirable. Valid California driver s license, liability insurance and a DMV record acceptable to Goodwill s insurance company. 5

6 TRANSPORTATION TRUCK HELPER (1 Open Position) To load and unload trucks, and assist in providing driving directions and guidance when backing up and parking the truck. High school diploma desired but not required; No experience necessary, will train; Ability to communicate and understand English well enough to receive work and safety instructions and answer questions, as well as communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients and the general public; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Ability to read Thomas Guide street maps. MAINTENANCE FACILITIES TECHNICIAN (1 Open Position) To perform building maintenance work at all facilities to ensure that equipment is in safe and efficient working order and provide work direction to maintenance helpers. High school diploma or GED. Trade school preferred; 3 years experience in maintenance and repair of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical; Working knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools; Welding experience highly desired; Experience using PC software, specifically experience with spreadsheets; Effective writing skills to document customer activity, problems, etc.; Valid California driver s license, clean DMV record, and automobile liability insurance acceptable to Goodwill s insurance carrier; Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs; Knowledge of building and ADA codes. DOCUMENT DESTRUCTION CLASS C DRIVER (1 Open Position) Picks up documents from customers and delivers bins using company trucks. Performs routine and manual duties related to document destruction requested for Federal/Commercial contracts. Ensures security of document and document destruction materials. High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Minimum one (1) year experience in shipping and receiving operations. Ability to operate a truck of less than three tons to pick up and deliver materials. Forklift experience and certification required. PC experience using Word and Excel, and other software preferred. Minimum one (1) year experience driving; 21 years of age. Able to lift 50 pounds. Effective communications and interpersonal skills to work with internal staff as well as customers. Valid California Driver s License and a DMV record that is acceptable to Landmark s Insurance Company. 6

7 TRUCK HELPER (1 Open Position) Helps Document Destruction Driver pick up documents from customers and deliver bins. Performs routine and manual duties related to document destruction requested for Federal/Commercial contracts. Ensures security of documents and document destruction materials while helping Document Destruction Driver. High school diploma desired, but not required. No experience necessary, will train. Ability to communicate, understand, and read basic written instructions in English well enough to receive work and safety instructions. and answer questions, as well as communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients and the general public. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to use GPS in-cab system. Must be willing to be certified in forklift operation. Valid CA driver s license and DMV record acceptable to Goodwill s insurance company. Previous supervisory experience; familiarity with or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Effective communication in English, grammar and writing skills. PC proficiency in Word and Excel preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid California driver s license, liability insurance, and a DMV record which is acceptable to Goodwill s insurance company. LANDMARK LEAD CUSTODIAN (1 Open Position) Assists supervisory staff to ensure that janitorial functions are accomplished within prescribed timeframes according to established standards. Performs janitorial services at assigned locations as required. Duties include but are not limited to mopping and waxing floors, vacuuming, etc. High School diploma or GED. One to two years janitorial experience required, supervision experience preferred. Prior experience working with people with disabilities desirable but not required. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
