19 ISO Format Change Status The proposed standard ISO format has been released 10 clauses, some standard text and definitions A provision and process to request deviation from the standard format was made ISO has begun work on their next revision using the process ISO 9001 has started revision activities Decision has been made to revise ISO 9001 ISO Working Group has been established to develop a NWIP (New Work Item Proposal) in early summer Deviation likely for standard text, unlikely for clause structure ISO plans on publishing in

22 9100 Series Revision High Level Plan The 9100 is based on ISO 9001 and is thus affected by the ISO TC176 revision activity Several other IAQG standards are based on the IAQG 9100 standard, and will require revision in parallel with the 9100 standard revision activity The IAQG 9100-series standards are planned for project completion in late 2015 early 2016 Revision focus is to fix what is broken and be very cautious in adding any new requirements Sound reasoning and the benefits are clear 22
