1 Revision No. : 03 Page 1 of 14 1 Place where equipment to be supplied 2 Scope (Supply, Supply & Installation/Supply, Installation & Training) DMD, CPRI, Bengaluru Supply, Installation, commissioning and Training 3 ICP OES Coupled with Micro wave Digestion system. 1.Simultaneous ICP-OES with dual view mode (both axial and radial in a single run) suitable for elemental analysis in ppb level coupled with sample digestion system. 2.The equipment shall be suitable for multi elemental analysis of Paints, Chemicals, wear metals, petrochemicals, organics, inorganics, HFs, water, soil, fly ash, dust, air particulates as per National/International Standards

2 Revision No. : 03 Page 2 of 14 3.Capable to perform elemental analysis on both aqueous and non aqueous samples (matrices). 4.The supplier shall be responsible for supply of main equipment, Micro wave digestion system and for their integration, warranty,malfunction, and other complications, if any. 4 Detectors UV sensitive SC/CCD/CMOS for the wave length range nm or better. 5 Optical System 1.Instrument shall be equipped with high energy Echelle based Grating with a focal length of mm or better. 2.The system shall have dual view with axial and radial measured together in the same method and in a single run 3.Resolution nm or better at 200nm

3 Revision No. : 03 Page 3 of 14 6 Wave length 1.Range to 900nm or better. 2.All elements must consists by at least 3 sensitive and 3 secondary lines to satisfy the requirement of wide range of matrices. 7 Gas system 1.Gas system shall have software control automatic mass flow controllers(mfc) for Plasma, Nebulizer and Auxilary gases to adjust the rate of flow automatically. 2.System shall have least Argon Consumption and shall be indicated. 8 Sample Introduction Kit Sample introduction kits includes, nebulizer, chamber, torch and tubes shall be suitable for both aqueous, non-aqueous, HFs, in-orgnics, Organics for all the matrices indicated in S.No 3.2.

4 Revision No. : 03 Page 4 of 14 9 Neubilizer & Pump Shall provide cyclonic spray chamber with high performance glass concentric neublizer and neublizer for organic samples and software controlled 3 to 5 channel peristaltic pump to minimize cross contamination with sprint valve/switching valve system for reduction in rinsing time and sample uptake time 10 Torch Alignment and Plasma view Shall have Axial/Vertical mounted torch and plasma, which includes quick release pre-aligned mounting block. 11 Plasma Source 1.Integral water cooled solid state MHz RF power generator with a delivery output of 1500 watts or better having 10 watt or better increment. 2.Plasma ignition shall be computer-controlled, user determined and totally automated.

5 Revision No. : 03 Page 5 of Micro wave Digestion system 1.Dual magnetron with delivery power capacity of 1600 watts or better. 2.System shall have contactless insitu temperature sensors for better accuracy to precisely measure the temperature of liquid inside all the vessels in a real time with an accuracy of ±1 0 C. 3. The system shall have provision for 8 or more slots to load the samples 8 or more 4.The system shall offer 8 or more high pressure HF Resistant vessels with 100 ml capacity. Vessels shall with stand up to C or more with a working pressure of 100 bar or more. 8 or more

Built-in in touch screen, preset methods for selection of matrices type, wave length library ( with an indication for selecting sensitive or secondary lines, mode of analysis - Axial or Radial or Dual view, for faster and easier operation to be provided.) 4. Software should have provision for auto and manual peak selection and contain method library 5.Facility for online back ground corrections and provision for auto and manual spectral interface corrections. 6.In built software validation for main equipment and Micro wave digestive system.

User right restriction and administrative log in.

11 Revision No. : 03 Page 11 of Warranty Warranty for the ICP-OES, Micro digestive system and Vessels one year from the date of successful installation & commissioning of equipment including for micro wave digester Vessels. 21 Instruction Manual 2 No's. of Instruction manual for both main instrument, and Sample digestive system should be provided with each equipment 2 No's 22 Training Training for 2 Officers on operation & maintenance of equipment "at CPRI, Bangalore" 23 Pre installation requirement Pre-installation requirements have to be mentioned along with the offer.

12 Revision No. : 03 Page 12 of Compliance of specification Compliance of the specification shall be indicated unambiguously in the column provided above and shall be supported by documentary evidence such as product catalogues (Original)/ application notes. 25 Deviations Deviations if any from the specifications given above which provides improvement in the functioning of the above item/equipment shall be clearly brought out with their advantages. 26 Additional features Any additional features other than the above may be brought out clearly. 27 Customer list A list of customers (with details like name of contact person, address, phone No.) to whom the similar system was supplied shall be furnished along with performance certificate

PN: 1) Bidder shall indicate complete details/information how the CPRI GTP are complied with against each and every specification parameters & mere statement of 'complied' do not suffice the requirement. 2)A detailed technical/catalogue/literature/phamplet and any other details shall be submitted in hard copy in a sealed cover superscribing enquiry number and due date so as to reach the following address within the due date and time. 3) The Indian representative of the foreign/overseas firms shall submit the Letter of Authorization issued by their principals. 4)The bidder shall submit the quotation / offer in the above prescribed format of Section IA, IB and II only.
