For the purpose of mixing, one roll should runs faster than the other one (friction) 1) The equipment is required for preparation of nano composites with Polyethylene and nano particles and PVC Sheets for testing 2) The equipment shall be capable of making sheets of 1mm to 5 mm and the Roll gap adjustment shall be of telescopic design with digital display 3) The extrued compound shall have excellent & uniform dispersion capability

A chrome plating to be provided to meet high requirements to the surface quality. The thickness of hard chrome shall be between 0.1 mm to 0.15 mm on the working surface of the roll. Surface roughness shall be 0.01 microns 2) Water /Oil cooling arrangement to be provided with SS tank and solenoid valve 3) Temperature controller should be of microprocessor based LCD unit with PID control. 6 Safety Control Safety Emergency stop switch to be provided at the front side of the panel Knee safety stop on the front side Both Rolls shall be covered by safety grill controlled by limit switch 7 Power Supply 3 Phase 440 V AC, 50 Hz

5 Revision No. : 03 Page 5 of 6 Topic : e-tender Specification Document FORMAT NO.:CPRI/PUR/ TBID/GTP Section II - Specification 8 Essential Spares The essential spares for trouble free operation for two years 9 Manuals Relevant manuals/documents for operation and maintenance Two sets in English to be supplied (Hard copy) Operation and maintenance Drawings Electrical / instrumentation / Service manuals along with circuit diagrams 10 Pre Dispatch Inspection Pre-dispatch Inspection & Testing shall be as follows: Complete Operation of the Equipment Demo of operation The pre dispatch Inspection charges including travel, boarding and lodging shall be borne by CPRI 11 Installation & Commissioning The equipment shall be commissioned at the laboratory of CPRI, Bangalore, by the Supplier. Necessary Logistics during commissioning and installation shall be arranged by the supplier.

6 Revision No. : 03 Page 6 of 6 Topic : e-tender Specification Document FORMAT NO.:CPRI/PUR/ TBID/GTP Section II - Specification 12 Acceptance tests at CPRI laboratory: Training of the complete operation of the equipment and controls of the system as per CPRI specification. 13 WARRANTY 2 years warranty from the date of installation & commissioning of the system 14 After Sales Service Service to be provided by local authorized agents for repair and maintenance in case of instrument breakdown or technical problems PN: 1) Bidder shall indicate complete details/information how the CPRI GTP are complied with against each and every specification parameters & mere statement of 'complied' do not suffice the requirement. 2)A detailed technical/catalogue/literature/phamplet and any other details shall be submitted in hard copy in a sealed cover superscribing enquiry number and due date so as to reach the following address within the due date and time. 3) The Indian representative of the foreign/overseas firms shall submit the Letter of Authorization issued by their principals. 4)The bidder shall submit the quotation / offer in the above prescribed format of Section IA, IB and II only. Informations any other forms shall shall be rejected.
