1 Modular Mineral Testing Laboratory Overview Paragon Geochemical provides the user with a turnkey system and infrastructure to process & analyze onsite +500 ore samples per day. Typical analysis includes gold by Fire Assay and base metals by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. Mobile Labs are built in Sparks, NV and assembled onsite virtually anywhere in just a few weeks. Client s staff is trained to meet industry standard operating procedures & quality assurance Best Practices right at your site. The modular containerized laboratory concept was developed by an experienced geochemist in liaison with a senior industrial architect and fire assayer. From this core design group, specialized trades men, competent contractors and suppliers were identified and utilized to finalize design details. Facility design, equipment and materials used are based on this design team s many years of experience in geochemistry, industrial architecture, container modification and mechanical engineering. Unique components were modeled and tested for efficiency before the design was finalized and put into production. 2 Sample Preparation Facility Sample preparation takes place within a specially modified 40 L x 8 W x 9½ H container. This unit allows for the processing of approximately 40 drill core samples per hour or 800 per day. The facility is designed to stand alone or operate within a complex including fire and wet assay laboratories. The interrelationship between sample login, prep, weighing and assaying is considered in the overall design to deliver optimal sample throughput and quality of results. Samples are logged in via the turnkey computer system control Sorted samples are loaded into trays Trays are placed in custom made carts Carts are pushed into an insulated sample dryer One hundred wet samples are dried in two hours - insulation and ventilation provide for heat retention and humidity reduction Upon drying, carts are pushed to the crushing area rather than moving individual samples or trays
